So in love with the USPS.
It's no secret that I love sending/receiving mail, and my mailbox has been a little bare lately (no fault of my regular pen pals, I'm probably just feeling a little needy). I joined the Letter Writers Alliance a couple weeks ago, and re-joined Swap-bot (a little bizarre at times, admittedly) over this weekend.
In college I did a whole mess of SB swaps that were pretty awesome. One relating to Michel Gondry that I was particularly obsessed with (I made a felt camera a la The Science of Sleep's felt incredibleness), and a Wes Anderson swap that turned out particularly spectacular. Blerg. I sure hope there are still some great people involved in that website, because it looks like my old swap-crew have all moved on.
That being said, I've been cranking out some pretty cool mail this weekend. Want some?
Also, I'm looking for some 6"x9" envelopes if anyone's got a whole stack lying around.

Besides being an avid knitter, I view the skein of yarn as a testament to the idea of potential in raw materials.
