Can't stop thinking about it honestly.
I fuck SO HARD with a sudden loss of control and bodily autonomy. Running on empty, on adrenaline, not realising you're fucked until it's too late and your body just gives up.
And it's extra gut-wrenching when that control was such a tightly held thing in the first place like it was with Baelor, appearing calm, confident, and in control in all situations.
But then it strikes me that he never really loses that control? At least not completely?
He's still the same person at his core right until the end. Still calm, considered, and considerate. Kind and courteous to those around him.
It's a dramatic death without being melodramatic, I think, and it's not even that gory really in the grand scheme of things.
It's almost understated in a way, just like he is. He doesn't fully lose that control, I think, but somehow that's worse?
