Belated Intro Post

Hi! I’m Cedar (they/he)! But I’m known by many names: lawn, tree, crow, ced. Common handles for me are things like sunnyLawn. I make art, but almost never post it now days. Follow me if my neurons are firing adjacent to your neurons.

I’m a college student, studying computer science and cybersecurity. So I’m consistently busy and tired. I grew up religious and talk about my girlfriend too much to compensate. I plan on proposing to her in December 2024. It’s very valid that you would get sick of this but I will not stop, thank you.

Edit: Proposed to girlfriend, she said yes! Very happy about this development!

You will notice some things, like the tags, are very empty. Unfortunately my regular presence here is relatively new and I’m busy, so they’re not crazy long repositories or anything.

For the most part I draw about my OCs and write fanfic. I’m always looking for new content and if you talk about something I’m passionate about, I’m going to EAT IT UP. I hope we can share that on here because that’d be cool :D

All of my digital works are made using Krita. I’ll probably never know what brush I’m using but you can ask.

Genuinely, I will like whatever you post about even if I know next to nothing about it. What do I like though? Most of it is media I consumed at a massive rate in my childhood and can now no longer rid myself of.

hello instagram artist. your challenge is to do a portrait study of a woman but you’re not allowed to stylize them so their eyes are really big and more cat eyed than the reference photo. You’re also not allowed to make their noses more of a button nose or their lips full and pouty or their faces heart shaped with no double chin. Also you have to draw a fat woman. one thats actually fat and not just slightly curvier than the kpop demon hunters body type. good luck

Also, I like being able to read at my leisure and generally have books at hand.

Personally I love libraries for trying out books. Say I buy a book and find out I absolutely hate it? What am I supposed to do??? I’ve found so many good books to gradually grow my collection with this way.

Also, the library tends to have books that are new and inflated in price. Which you can buy later :D

Not a big fan of what melatonin has been doing to my dreams lately.

I have been informed that the "adult dose" of 10mg listed on my pill bottle is 30 times the usual recommended dosage, so that might be why I've been trapped in the fifth dimension every night for the past four months.

Took a melatonin last night at 5 mg and yeah the weird dreams were weird dreaming. One included desperately trying to stop my wife from bleeding out. The other had someone sneak into my room through my open window and alter my tattoos. As in, they tattooed over my tattoos to make them unrecognizable and defaced me like I was a ransom note.

Really tells you what my worst fears are tbh. Didn’t even get to sleep well. TvT
