Gdansk was an amazing unforgettable last week with the volunteers. This will be my last time seeing a majority of them. It was a bittersweet feeling, but it was still an amazing place to be together. We visited the beach for the first time in forever, and visited Malbork castle which was beautiful and awe-inspiring.  Then on the last night Bride, Claire and I climbed a hill and sat up there talking for about 2 hours. If I could only take one thing out of this experience it would be the amazing friendship I have with these two. I am so upset that we only have about a week left together. I cannot imagine not seeing them practically everyday.

Just had the most amazing night last night with my favourite aussie and kiwi. Impactfest was absolutely perfect. I am so glad that I decided to go. I have a new found love for Paramore. And we discovered that sometimes you just have to yell and scream and dance to songs you don’t even know (especially since the Polish people just assumed we were drunk).

Today after school I met up with Bride and Claire and we went in search of some bikes to rent. It took a while but we finally found some. We biked around for a bit and ended up in a park. Bride decided food was needed so we bought some cheese, buns and grapes. Then acted like idiots and ran around. I am so happy it is warmer now and we can do fun stuff like this.

bought my dream swimsuit online yesterday, bought some sunglasses today, sat in the sun for a couple hours and got the beginnings of a sunburn on my cheeks. I have been in winter since November and spring actually started about 3 days ago and I am enjoying it!!!

So I haven't really updated on what I have been up to properly since Wroclaw.  As you know after Wroclaw I visited Berlin for 4 nights. It was an amazing trip with amazing people. If you want to see exactly what I did the pictures are on facebook. I got to learn a lot about German history and see many amazing monuments. Overall it is the most history I have learned since being here and I am so keen to go back someday.  The night before we left Berlin I was told that I had to move out of my current host place and move in with Zosia (my mentor) for 3 nights before moving in with my new host people. So that stressed me out a little and then to top it off we missed our bus back to Warsaw the next morning. We had to rush to the train station and pay an extra 50 euro to get back to Warsaw. That was a hectic couple hours but it turned out ok. We got back to Warsaw at a decent time and we felt like Harry Potter because the train had compartments and a lady came by a couple times with a trolley full of treats.  I moved in with Zosia and her family on Monday night and they were incredibly accommodating and super nice to the shy girl from Canada. I really need to get over this shyness. It can sometimes mess up situations. I promise that if I am quiet and/or hiding away in my room it is not because I am rude or I do not want to talk to you it is because I am unsure of the situation and I do not want to intrude. But we talked about it and Zosia is so amazing at making me feel way more confident about myself. I really am so lucky to have her as a mentor. On Tuesday Zosia took her class to a Polish play and since she had an extra ticket I was able to go as well. Obviously I had no idea what was going on... but there were many musical numbers, and the tech was so well done. I didn't even care how confused I was, I just enjoyed being in a theatre again. On Thursday Zosia drove me to my new host placement. And I met the nicest people ever. They have been so accommodating and sweet to me. They speak excellent English. The man (don't know how to spell his name) is a vegetarian, so funny, and an amazing painter. Regina loves to read, she travels to so many interesting places  and she is a great cook. And to top it all off they have a reading room with 2 full shelves of english books!!! They also are letting me have full reign of the kitchen which means I can start cooking again. Which also means they will get to try my corn chowder very soon :P Overall I am very happy and very lucky to be where I am. That's it for now. That is the most writing I have probably done on this blog yet. My fingers hurt (literally 2 fingers, cause I only use 2 to type). Updates coming soon! We are going to the zoo and the science museum soon so pictures to come!! k bye <3

Have my face!! This is me and Bride in Wroclaw.  Also I got a new dress and I got to wear it for the first time today. We spent another 3 hours biking around Wroclaw and filming a very special secret video project that I am very excited about!!! It was a very good day. But now we are being lazy bums and lying around on the internet....
