The YOUNG DISCIPLES- Un des groupes le plus influents issu des 90's. Reconnu underground. Qu'est-ce que vous faites pour vous y mettre si pas encore.
The YOUNG DISCIPLES, spearheads of a soulful sound that influenced a whole bunch of vibes and tribes since the early 90's. So get yourself together, if not done yet, go and buy their album. You'll thank me for that, punks.
No comments when it comes to Otis...

Forenote and picture from keithharing:
"The Keith Haring Foundation scanned the journals featured in Keith Haring: 1978–1982 and will post a page a day for the duration of the show. The exhibition, on view at the Brooklyn Museum from March 16 through July 8, 2012, is the first large-scale presentation to explore the early works of Keith Haring"
The Yardbirds - For Your Love
The 45 King and Lakim Shabazz - "When a wise man speak" (1989)
Notice Lakim Shabazz is the anagram of Malik Shabazz, the muslim name of Malcolm Little, also known as Malcom X.
You find a Malcolm X Shabazz High School in Newark, New Jersey, if you have not completed your degrees yet.
Skateboard percussions do the trick...
Miles Davis plays Cafe Bohemia, New York City, 1956.
While Kid n' Play organised block parties with marshmallows and fries for everyone, cops were too busy to catch 50 cent.
Mr Freeze and starfishes...
Not very much into science and all those sorts of things that have to rule with the forces of nature and so on.
Much more of a city kid. Show me how to turn a can of tuna into a proper firering engine, and I'll be cool with that.
But that... that man, is proper science at it's best.
A frozen finger of death, or something like that. Man, much better than a Mister Freeze I would say.
Check out the starfishes in this 1.46 mn video, they do think as me!
"I'm a fool to want you", Chet Baker footage.
Not the best performance, as often with Chet, especially in those years in Europe.
History facts- While Miles asked 10.000$ per show in the late 60's, Chet fee was 1.000$ per night. Roughly the price of the smack he would get.
By the way, no one knows for sure what happenned the night he fell off the 2nd storey of the Amsterdam building he was staying at.
Consequently ending up a life of dope and music and love, all chained together within Chet's mind.
Some say he's been pushed by someone he owed money to -a junky, or a dope dealer-, some say he just fell, probably too stone to notice the window was open.
Chet Baker was a fool to want it.
Ghost Dog... when Jarmusch critics the cinema industry.
I happen to buy yesterday in DVD this film I haven't seen since 1999 or so.
Jim Jarmusch's "Ghost Dog, the way of the samurai" is not only a great movie about loyalty. It's a proper critic of the industry production, foremost independant film makers against the "industry".
You can for that make a parallel with Luca's "Star Wars".
So did Rza (pictured bellow with Whitaker in "Ghost Dog") when destructing the hip-hop industry with the Wu-Tang galaxy when every member of the crew was signing with a different record production.

"I told Steve (Rowland, radio producer) that Miles didn't have to do anything he didn't want to do, that he would give back the money we had given him and that would be the end of the project. When Steve heard that, he calmed down, and we left to begin the long drive back to the Silverlake area of Los Angeles..."
