Sarafangirlart , If you're worried about people's feelings, then why publicly criticize an artist's work to your audience in the first place? It's one thing to dislike the story or its interpretation of mythology, which is completely fair. But criticizing the artist's design as generic and uncreative when they're just doing their job feels unnecessary.
You also left enough information in your post for people to find the artist anyway. If you're going to publicly criticize someone's creative work, it seems inconsistent to then be upset when people bring that criticism to the artist's attention. If you genuinely believe your criticism is fair, why not direct it to the artist respectfully instead of talking about them to an audience that they may never see?
Critique the writing if you want, but singling out the artist for choices they may not even have made doesn't seem fair.
