My favorite thing every from the Flight Rising community is seeing the most dressed dragon ever, covered up from head to toe, breed traits barely visible through the clothes so you might not even know what the hell breed the dragon is under there. And then someone with this dragon will post two scries and say "Which tertiary gene looks better for this dragon?" and they both look absolutely identical.

yeahg. im making my own lowkey toxtricity fandragon bc the dragons on the AH arent quite close enough for my liking. lets see how long it takes before i get a good hatchling or until i get bored

reject hatchlings will be sold as fodder on the AH so i have money towards the Bogsneak breedchange and genes

i finally finished my project!! i love him :] i'd bought a second breeding pair so i could projectmaxx and eventually ended up with this lovely fella who was perfect for what i had in mind. he's fully gened n stuff and now i just wanna do a nice simple bio for him!!

im thinking about ridgeback gender affirming care. lets assume a hard magic system ok lets not handwave it away for a moment. i think dragon hrt easily stimulates ridgeback horn growth but going the other way it only slows the growing once it starts. like ridge biology has a hair trigger for growing that thang. HOWEVER there is a procedure/ritual (magic is real) that like cauterizes the horn site so it doesnt continue to grow at all. reversible. because magic is real.

Maren Beastclans lore update just dropped!

I had a wonderful time reading the article because I feel like 90% of it was headcanons I already had about them anyway ^^

I love the importance of both seers and scavengers in their culture, because that covers my entire little Maren family <3

I love the confirmation again that not all of them need to be scaled and can have the tails of marine mammals instead, and that arctic Maren are much fatter than tropical Maren (also I want to see some of these funky abyssal Maren as familiars next please FR, they sound badass o-o)

I love that they changed 'they can't breathe above the surface at all' to 'they can breathe above the surface but not for long, and it isn't easy' so all my comics of them hanging out on the beach and docks still work

Also shout-out to this lovely lady, because little Tarni already loves collecting shells and was going to have a similar scavenging job herself when she grows up, along with her best friend Grub (but I'm going to continue drawing them both as little kids because they're adorable)

I know this is a relatively old Scene but I just got around on using it, on my boy Nazoc, and I never noticed the adorable lil guy at the bottom mid-right! I don't know what dragon type he is or if he even is one, maybe proto-Thorntail? In any case I love him <3
