Lest I neglect it, @denofimagination-blog also has an extremely impressive take on a modern Imperator Titan (and they're on Tumblr so I can adequately credit them with a reblog). Additional photography is available on their website, although I've taken the liberty of reposting a few of the particularly noteworthy elements that are relevant to my interest here.
There's a lot to like about this design - I'm a big fan of the thick thighs, beefy biceps and the five distinct plasma reactors sticking out of its back - and as a straightforward adaptation of the original, it is definitely one of the better examples. It avoids the trap of just cranking up the detail on the original model while simultaneously incorporating elements of more modern art like Binary Succession, Titandeath and Wrath of the Omnissiah (although like those other early Neil Roberts pieces, you can absolutely tell that there's no modern miniature to photo reference off of in these designs).
Of course it's worth bearing in mind that there should be no one authoritative design for an Imperator Titan as each one is meant to be a bespoke construct unique to the forge - not forge world, individual forge - that assembled it, so that whether it be Wilph's or Ravenburg's or Battle Bling's, every one is equally valid; as long as it's a ridiculously oversized walking cathedral bristling with guns, there's no wrong answer.
