Egged, planked, and wood-beaned Boom's house :)
Went to hell, saw stoot sleepin there.
And Sideburns' front lawn...
Egged Volkov's living room. :)
Eggy Zilleoween to you!
Egged two houses today, one was my dear friend's, and the other was, of course, stoot's (same neighborhood as friend, so why not!)
Friend's:
Stoot's:
The notes read,
"It's Zilloween, and I love tricks,
So I egged your house, just for kicks."
I think my friend may have a drinking problem.
Flasher glitch!
Thank you to spunsugar for this!
More lips!
Volkov expressed dismay that the lips in front of his house had disappeared, so I replaced them and added a cuddly new twist. <3 ya Volkov :)
Cubimals!
☆Sprinkles☆ left cubimals en masse in Marylpole Mount:
Taupe showed up to pick some up, as he'd sold all of his. He is also pantsless, but I don't know if he sold his pants or what:
I decided to quaff a love philtre and pass that lovin' feeling onto him, because his pantslessness was soooo irresistible.
I'm going to start posting naked glitches under the #nudity tag.
Beglitched
For a second, I thought Bejeweled was implemented.
OMG this NEEDS to be a minigame! LC, you gotta post it on ideas, with a link to this pic. Pleeeease.
Voluptua looking CUUUTE! So cute! And that's Botia in the monster hat. I love that freakin hat so much. In RL I have a plush Domo, but my cat Ianto keeps stealing it and hiding it under the bed.
So this was Boom's revenge for the wood tree beans. :) :)
A dragon's tale
One day, a Glitch was pursuing a rather challenging achievement; she was seeking the Numismatizer badges. Numismatists are coin collectors, and the badges require a Glitch to collect the full 100 coins* per day for a certain number of days straight. The days are ONLY days the Glitch is logged in, but it can be nerve wracking to accidentally log in at 10pm Ur time and realize you've got 20 RL minutes to grab 100 coins.
The first badge, Leprechaun Class, only requires 5 straight days of coin collection. The little Glitch in our tale would learn that this was merely a warm-up for the next badge, which requires 11 days. She developed a routine that would take her to many places around the world to grab coins that were a bit more special than others.
Some rare coins grant favor--and the amount of favor it says when the coin is grabbed? Is for EACH giant. So if it says 50 favor, then you've got 50 with each giant, all at once. These coins are purple with a star in the middle. Some other rare ones look like little clocks, and they take a little time off of whatever skill you're learning.
The most common coins grant energy, mood, experience, or currants. Most of these give a small, consistent number each, but there are some stashed around that can give pretty big numbers, sometimes more than 1000 exp in a few cases!
What we're saying is, the Glitch's entire life became coins. It revolved around coins--getting 100 per day, and 100 of the best possible ones per day at that. Teleport points and teleport scripts were heavily employed, and once the daily limit was reached, the remainder of each day was spent gathering materials to make awesome stew to fuel those teleports.
Numismatizer, Gryphon Class (the 11-day badge) came and went. The little Glitch would sleep a few short hours, but became restless quickly, knowing that she could be collecting coins right that very minute instead of wasting time on sleep! If she missed out on a day, then that was four hours she'd have to spend later waiting on a day to change!
She lost track of the days. It was bound to happen. She was sleepless, raw, paranoid, and she began to worry that she'd borked up a day somewhere, and the count had started over somewhere. A quick cry for help on the Live Help channel revealed a dev who pitied her and let her know that she had just three days left. Relieved, she spent the next twelve RL hours in a coin-obsessed frenzy, watching the game clock with bleary, crazed eyes.
And then it happened. A Brand New Day dawned, and with the rising energy and mood levels came a special screen announcing her achievement: Numismatizer, Dragon Class!
Like the crazed runner in "The Long Walk" by Richard Bachman, achieving her goal seemed to push the Glitch right through her breaking point and into a new thirst for coins. She first bought herself a lovely Sea Dragon costume to celebrate, then resumed her rounds, teleporting around to grab the best coins in the most out-of-the-way spots.
And then it happened. She stood on a ledge in Kalavana, a lovely purple coin with a white star in the middle above her head--one of the best favor coins she could find anywhere. When she jumped, the first coin she hit--a common, low-denomination xp coin--caused a rainbow to arch over her head, announcing that she'd reached the 100-coin daily limit. She snarled, jumping up over and over to futilely grab the coin, her mind broken from the sleeplessness and monomania of the past three rl days.
At that moment, a lovely Glitch and Luck Dragon named Golgar happened to talk to her. Speaking in primitive syllables, she conveyed her frustration in a fashion that Golgar, being very intelligent and compassionate, was able to interpret despite its lack of coherence.
Golgar knew what needed to be done, so he used his Luck Dragon powers to go to the little Sea Dragon glitch, hug her, and then gently harvest the coins so they were no longer cruelly taunting her.
Thus relieved, he advised her to get some sleep, and that she could get more coins after she rested. He reminded her that she had achieved her goals with the coins, and that she no longer needed to be obsessed with them. He also gave her a special gift to be shared between dragons, a key to his lair. Comforted and happy, the little Glitch left Ur to get some RL food and sleep.
Due to Golgar's intervention, she has now fully recovered from her coin addiction, and can be found cheerfully wandering Ur, and only grabbing coins when they're convenient. And while she loves her dragon costume and wears it once in a while, she can also often be found with noodles on her head.
* Also spelled "quoins", but the author is sick of being asked what a quoin is, replying, "coins", and then being told, "Well why didn't you just say coins then?" So, coins.
