the next major installment of the reigniting series is coming this weekend, so i'd like to give an explanation of how the canon events transferred
- beasts minus sisalt became shadow milk eldritch creature
- silent salt broke his soul jam (he doesn't crumble though you'll see)
- cream wolf dies and is revived
- white lily sort of dies
- eternal sugar plays a role similar to silent salt, but DE has power over her (unlike sisalt who she only holds manipulation over and not true strength)
- hollyberry shuts people out, pavlova moves into the hollyberry palace
- mercurial knight is (temporarily) named king of the faeries but as the universe expands this will change
- silent salt sort of fills in a gap. he's not white lily by any means but the ancients know he's the reason they exist and know he's not a threat. he returns to the barren, charcoal cookie and salt cellar cookie alongside him. he also stops by the faerie kingdom and picks up the ritual of life but that's for later
- white lily goes back to what she was before beast yeast 1-- someone will have to give themselves up for her. i think we may know who that will end up being if its not silent salt
- pure vanilla is also sort of devastated because after all is said and done he finally realizes how he felt about shadow milk and is mourning both white lily and him
- sugar swan ALSO returns the dough of elder faerie because cmon he deserved a mention 💔
- with the war aside, we can finally focus on the republic's lower city and how they're doing.
- the story of the emissaries becomes a lot more public and it's the nail in the coffin for the st pastry order. like they have no leader and their deity was actually just a gay couple
- the beast cookies' servants spread out. chocolate bark cookie begs for cloud haetae to come back after the flour of volition's story is unraveled. dark cacao agrees but is still VERY hesitant.
- the deal with cloud haetae is peach blossom also comes back.
- golden cheese lost wlily again so nutmeg tiger goes off on her own since she'd be killed immediately by golden cheese
- since jungleberry doesn't have light of passion and hollyberry is mia, wildberry and royal berry share the burden of representing the hollyberry kingdom. pitaya comes back but is benevolent this time because they do, after all, need protection
- power of the guardian is with mercurial knight, but silent salt has white lily's dough
once i watch the full epilogue/rebuilding with sugar swan i'll add to this, but for now it's pretty much just elder faerie haunting the narrative, the republic's oligarchy is in trouble, half of wildchip is shellshocked and the other half is shellshocked but also half an ancient
