Anonymous 4/17/26(Fri)17:43:44 No. 193799699 >be me >first art exhibition in ambitious group show >get sculpture and drawings in at last minute >not sure what im doing but looks cool i guess >gallerist says "mmmm very excellent, they will love it" >seems to think i know what im doing so i play along and nod >social anxiety works in my favor seems like im mysterious? >fast forward to exhibition opening i show up early nobodys there >wait around drinking lime seltzer and looking at phone >two hours later huge groups of people start pouring in >drinking and lots of chatter >see group of cool people standing in front of my artworks >one looks around and we lock eyes briefly >they turn to friends and point in my direction all giggling >wtfpeopleinterested?.jpeg >feeling nervous but remember how playing up artist anxiety seemed to work >they all come up and ask me what my name is >tell them anon blah blah ask if they like the art >they say its embarrassing and im a dumb loser and start laughing again super loud >caught off guard i spill the lime seltzer on my pants and yelp >now everyone looks at me and joins in laughter >gallerist comes up and says "you fool! that art is worthless trash, you think id seriously show that garbage? it was a trick! show is titled dinner for schmcks for fucks sake!" >he rips drawings in half and kicks the sculpture down the stairs shattering it >cant hold back crying start sobbing while running down stairs to the fire exit >still running outside away from the building feels like i can still hear the laughter >feelsbadman.jpeg >get all the way to main park in the city and duck into a dark area >find park bench to sit on and continue crying >twohourslater.jpeg >still crying >through tears see tiny bunny hopping around a tree >looking around for predators and eating berries or something >wtfsocute.jpeg >slowly make my way to the bunny and it doesnt run away >find a berry on the ground and offer it to bunny >find a bunch and sit down near it >the bunny hops into my lap and slowly eats all the berries then hops away Anonymous 4/17/26(Fri)17:45:20 No. 193799744 >How does grace feel anon?
