We've enjoyed our week here at Atitlán waiting for it mail. We've met up with some great people, danced our butts off, and enjoyed a couple days in Antigua. GUATEMALA! We went international again crossing our third border on the trip and finally making it into some honest to goodness jungle (monkeys and all.) Paul took us across Frontera Corozal and we caught a boat across the river to the border. After a week on dirt roads we decided to treat ourselves to a hotel with a pool! (at Sayaxché)

Sorry it took so long, we're not very connected out here in Zapatista territory (a self proclaimed autonomous region held by a communist group who brag about their assassinations on street signs). Luckily the friendly waves and honks didn't stop. We are solidly in Chiapas and will be crossing a couple hundred KMs of dirt roads to cross into Guatemala. It is very hilly, very hot, and very humid. We are using every roadside water source as a shower (probably gross but it's so hot we don't care). #chiapas #mexico #bicycletouring
