I like a lot of things, so if my page feels disorganized or tacky, it's truly just the person I am enjoying all of the things I do without fear of not being "aesthetic."
My blog is SFW/Nonsexual, though I may post or reblog something with a heavier subject. I forbid any interactions with sexual or romantic intents, and I prefer entirely NSFW blogs don't interact or I’ll just quietly remove
I love to talk about my many many interests (I am multifandom!) and that also includes things such as occultism, witchcraft, parapsychology, folklore and anything haunted or spooky, a touch of theology, nature and animals, astronomy, quantum mechanics, and much much much more that if I kept going would make the entire blog a scroll of interests. Notably though I also like "childish" things and anything related to inner child healing, it’s a large part of me!
I feel very deeply about my beliefs and if I vocalize them I’ll do it proudly, however I am also ALWAYS open to hear what someone else thinks or has to say to counter me (given that it is logical and has evidence and/or reason behind it.)
Inbox is open to anyone as long as what you say is appropriate!
avery hates AI and everytime someone says "I asked ChatGPT-" he yells "WRONG!" with a loud buzzer noise and says "I ASK D3RLORD3 BECAUSE HE HAS INFINITE KNOWLEDGE."
Expect a yap session. EXPECT SOME EXISTENTIALISM. EXPECT GAY ROMANCE!! PROCEED IF YOU WANT TO READ THAT SORTA THING
The nature of cosmic love just deeply calls to my soul… I’m calling specifically to Avery and Derek from SFAWTDE/DAWTDE under the context that the two protagonists were in love. I think particularly the nature of falling in love for the two. Derek was the first, because all at one he was struck with all that was and all that is and all that will be.
But mind you, he could not see all that was in the “world that didn’t exist,” or in other words, all the things that transpire to us. He knew aspects of what was ahead, but not really even details or generalities at all.
What is so beautiful to me is that Derek saw Avery, and imagining that he fell deeply in love is wonderful. And in my own perspective, I think Derek fell in love with Avery not only for the features he found beautiful, admirable, or attractive, but also that he did not know all that would transpire. Even if he had a general idea and could predict and know other things like how Avery was going to stumble into his trap, he could not know the intrinsic details of what it would be like to know Avery. Derek knew of ALL people. Theoretically, he would know even know the person reading this, and he would know the darkest secrets of politicians and he would know so much. But not Avery. And is it not exciting for so many people at the beginning of a crush or relationship in general to be clueless to something? Imagine Derek’s position: After gaining all of the knowledge in the external universe, there is one person that he doesn’t know in finality. Of course Derek would know A LOT, and practically most of the things about Avery. And yet, he didn’t know what rest ahead for him and Avery. Avery, who was a complete standout individual to Derek. Avery, the chance for Derek to indulge himself in an adventure so great, something beyond him, and beyond all else. Of course Derek would fall in love with Avery.
And as for Avery, he would return his feelings in a different way. At first it started as some intriguing rabbit hole to go down. Think about the times you yourself have learned something that caught your entire attention. Maybe it was true crime, an urban legend, a cartoon, an ARG. And for Avery, it was as such, but also incredibly personal because it had everything to do with HIM too. Avery was suddenly part of this rabbit hole and he could not remove himself from it. Naturally, he would pursue Derek in an admired way. Maybe it was even semi-parasocial. I’m sure many people have found they are closer mutuals with someone they admired than expected, and became determined to befriend them. But regardless, it became evident as Avery progressed that this was serious. And so think of all the time Avery spent dedicating himself to one person, and imagine the emotional bond created to someone he hadn’t even met himself. In this way, he was cosmically bound to Derek.
And then, Derek indirectly saved Avery, pulling him out of his numb, sullen trance. You could argue Derek also indirectly professed his love for Avery, much in the way that when you are in love with someone, you remind them that they are special, spectacular, and all things amazing.
There was absolutely no stopping their eventual meeting. Fate was predetermined. Now imagine again how it felt for the both of them. A jarring moment for the two, and an unspoken prophecy fulfilled. They have met, and there is no turning back.
Avery likely was floored, and Derek likely felt he saw an old friend return to him at last.
Avery’s head was so full with finding and saving Derek, and Derek’s head was so full with protecting and cherishing Avery.
Think again to how Derek sees Avery. All that is good. Special.
Now remember that Derek knows everything. He knows what is good, he knows what is bad. He hypothetically also knew what the universe was truly composed of, and maybe it defied every philosophy down to the most existentialist of ideas. And after all of this? Avery is the most special anyways.
And to Avery, Derek is the most important.
So I guess I’ll just finish this with… what came first? When did their love begin? Was it predetermined? Maybe there was a catalyst?
Regardless, I believe that forces beyond them, beyond the King in Yellow, set them into place. King in Yellow is a god, but perhaps the true god is everything that is, and everything else, and everything that is unseen. King in Yellow might be fraudulent— as even if he is incomprehensible, he is still a communicative, motivated being. And I think that motivation is still too understandable by the human mind.. And of course, the King in Yellow should have been able to see that Avery and Derek were too great a link.
Yea basically I think Slimeknight is a beautiful and awesome and cute partnership that are so interconnected that not even KiY could have possibly been what moved them 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
What is up with all of the TikTok’s saying, “i used to be a therian, it was fun. Yeah I grew up. it was a cool phase…etc.” as someone who feels this is deeply woven into my identity, I don’t understand how people could say it’s just a phase if they felt it was part of their identity. As a trans person i understand dysphoria and treating it, but I’ve never seen someone wake up and just be like, “being trans was cool, glad I grew up.” What the hell does that even mean? It seems to me like so many people use it as a fad but in reality it is something deeply tied to someone’s identity, to who they are.
For clarification, I understand that identity is truly impermanent, as someone who identifies with Santana Dharma (Hinduism.) BUT, people are using this as a trend and it’s annoying. Massive difference between evolving and being trendy. That’s all.
I think the crucial part of this is indeed the comparison to being transgender. When someone detransitions, and in the sense where they are cis again, then it is true to say that they were never transgender in that way in the first place. Likely they were confused, misled, and felt their traits meant that the only possible conclusion was that they were trans. It's certainly this way too for many that thought they were therians. Many people do dismiss it as a phase, whether they were doing it for clout or genuinely thought at one point they were transgender but had not the understanding of their experience and jumped to conclusions. In both ways, there's a stain on the communities left by the "detransitioners." They were never a therian or transgender in the first place, yet now by their treatment of the word and claiming it was a phase leaves a negative impact.
Working on a video essay about therianthropy (and alterhumanity) is so enlightening on so many levels
I'd like everyone to invite themselves to the idea that many of our abstract experiences we have today are not unique to us, not in a degrading, pitying way but rather an eye-opening and unified sense.
I want to reserve my discussion of the therian aspect to my video and writing, but I want to give a different example related to gender
Throughout history in various cultures, gender wasn't so one-dimensional as many people in the western world interpret it (limited to solely male or female genders. I mean gender as well, not biological sex, which is out of the question anyways considering intersex people are real people too.)
Two-spirit in North American indigenous belief is an excellent example. They existed long before us, and they, encompassing masculine and feminine traits, played a very critical role in their communities.
Beyond this, I imagine that even hundreds of thousands of other people in the existence of the animals "humans" have struggled with their gender identity because it did not lay entirely just within the scope of what genitalia and biology they had, but something more intrinsic and spiritual.
So just keep this in mind when thinking about alterhumanity. There are many human-perceived non-human beings in history that just did not have the modern vocabulary we do now.
I’ve received so many responses already for my first survey and I want to thank everyone who has taken it and people who have provided feedback for it.
The second survey is out and this time it is EXPLICITLY for alterhumans, and it is more what others are looking for. The previous survey was for everyone, but this one is more extensive and provides chances for the respondent to elaborate.
I want to apologize to anyone who felt excluded by the previous survey and I acknowledge changes needed to be made but the intent behind the first survey was not to be biased in anyway, but rather propose COMMON opinions by alterhumans and non-alterhumans and gather a surface level understanding of what the respondent thinks. I understand how it potentially didn’t come off that way to some people, but I have been getting all the input I’ve been looking for. Now, this survey will give the respondent a chance to reallly get in deeper, however feedback is still greatly encouraged.
Would you like a chance to participate in a survey whether or not you are a therian?
Yes, regardless of how you identify, for or against, you are invited to partake in a survey for a potential future video essay.
The aim is to gather general views of therianthropy from a broad lens, taking into account general values, spirituality, online spaces, and art. However it is fairly simple.
Answer based only on your opinions or prior knowledge.
Because minors are a large part of the therianthropy community, they have input as well but must be 13+
There will be a future survey ONLY for therians/alterhumans to narrow in on a more specific audience and their particular experiences, so stay tuned.
