Ed had decided to take advantage of the fresh air, and set up a small table and chair outside the Defense House. A small easel was propped on the table, with a half-finished watercolor canvas resting there. A couple jars of water and various water color palettes were all over the table and a couple were even on the ground. Ed stared intently at the painting, reaching out to take a sip from his glass of water, only to absently pick up the wrong jar and bring the one he’d been using to wash his brushes with to his lips. “Ugh, oh, Merlin,” he spluttered, completely unaware someone else had seen his mistake.

Will had spent his Hogsmeade weekend walking and exploring the small town, although it was hardly exploring when he took the same route every time he came. He approached Ed from behind, his eyes drawn by the painting he paused to watch him for a moment, unable to stop Ed when he reached for the wrong jar - Will’s warning was too late. “Don’t - oh. That can’t have been nice. Sorry I should have warned you faster, I just didn’t realise until you’d already.. well, sorry.”

She didn’t seem right, not that Mila ever seem completely normal to him but she was clearly on something. Will held her shoulder. “Are you ok? Can I help you?”

Her delicate fingers crept up from his stomach to the collar of his shirt, which she tugged on. “You can ‘elp me in lots of ways if you want.”
