The existence of a safeword also implies the existence of a dangerword that you can use to instantly turn any sexual event into a combat encounter

Funky Crab Monday 🦀🥳🎉
never played stardew valley so before looking at the tags I was willing to accept this was a real life political scandal
March in 3 months
These gentle, 400-pound giants are splashing back from the brink of extinction.
Guys...🥹
I don’t know about anyone else but these sorts of headlines frequently make me highly suspicious so I did some follow up research after reading the article. I am happy to say that Green Sea Turtles no longer being counted as endangered is not due to the IUCN or any government shifting the goalpost for what can be considered an endangered species. The only update is, as the article states, an update in surveyed population numbers. Notably the article itself states that the current Green Sea Turtle numbers are not currently at what they historically were when the species was thriving, but this change in status over a relatively short period should absolutely be considered a significant win for conservation efforts and indicates a larger more grounded hope in our ocean ecosystems ability to heal.
Fighting for a better world is worth it and it is not too late.

This Friday's meme is: the perfect being
Have you seen fossilised crabs. They're hilarious they literally do just
Straight up they are just fully there. Shellfish are really fun like that, i have a shrimp fossil in my collection that's like. Yeah it's just 100% a shrimp, legs and antennae and all. When your skeleton is on the outside, it means your outside fossilises really well.

Tags from @krawdad because i thought this was very cool from a puppeteering perspective
[ID: Image one is a Sesame Street gif of Big Bird throwing a frisbee to Cookie Monster, who promptly takes a bite of it. Image two is a set of tags that read: “#i want to appreciate how wacky a stunt tossing a frizbee to cookie monster is from a practical standpoint #guy inside the bird cannot see out of it. he gets a feed of what the camera sees. #he actually catches the thing the bird actually threw
#and the only reason i can tell they didnt fake it is because cookie monster doesn’t look at the frizbee when he catches it #because the puppeteer was focused on catching the dang thing at all #how many takes must this have taken to pull off #usually you achieve that with a cut #it’s so much easier to just cut to the other character catching a prop #i appreciate the effort #and i want others to notice it #it is also a left handed catch #on a right handed performer #someone else is doing the right hand.” End ID]
It’s also a left-handed throw because the puppeteer’s right hand controls Big Bird’s mouth
this is a really cool puppet stunt o-o
And again they didn’t even have to do this, the audience absolutely would have accepted a shot of big bird throwing followed by a shot of cookie catching, but they did it anyway, for love of the game
Actual subtitles for Atticus Islay - Jones’ very tired TA.
My favorite Soviet era joke: Three Russian men were sent by their company to attend a convention in Moscow. All 3 shared a hotel room. Two of them cracked open a bottle of vodka, but the third just wanted to sleep. The two drinkers got louder and louder as the bottle emptied, telling each other political jokes. The third was kept awake, and got angry.
He went outside for a smoke. On his way back to his room, he stopped at the desk and said 'Please send a pot of tea up to room 23.'
The two drunks were still being loud. The third man went in, looked at them, then leaned over to the light socket 'Comrade Major, please send some tea to my room.'
The other men thought this was hilarious...until there was a knock on the door, and a waiter with a pot of tea. They became completely silent, and the third man fell asleep.
When he woke up in the morning, he was alone. He went to the front desk, and asked where his roommates were.
'Well, the KGB came this morning and took them away.'
The man was horrified 'why did they spare me?!?'
"The comrade major thought the tea joke was very funny."
A judge enters the break room in the court house, barely able to restrain himself from laughing.
- Ivan Ivanovich, what is it that’s so funny?
- I just heard the most hilarious joke about Comrade Stalin
- Well let us hear it!
- Are you insane? I gave the man 20 years
