JJ Leroy And Cousin Shane
If JJ was Shane's cousin? In previous parts of this series, the Leroy's were said to not be fans of hockey at all, which is a lot more notable in Canada than Japan, which could be awkward. But also- the idea of Hockey Player David learning from figure skater sister is super cute! Or if he regretted not doing that, seeing Shane try to bond with JJ this way. It'd be cool to see them try keep in touch, once they were both in the same city. Awkward family dinners or just monthly catch ups at places that serve athlete friendly food. Trading food and hotel reccomendations for Montreal, and other cities.
Shane Figure Skating in Jane Dutch
Shane has less figure skating in his life in this verse. But he still has the skill, and does still take advantage of having a figure skater/choreographer connection for the movie!

Don't think Shane would revisit Wyatt or Eric for goalie strategy, but it would be genuinely hilarious if the second goalie book referenced the personal lives of Both the goalies he used for Noah Sivertsen's gameplay.
