A quick sketch I did of one of Magically-Strange’s random posts featuring Bog, Marianne, and a special brush. I think you can find the original post on Page 6 on her blog currently. Sorry, I haven’t figured out how to link such things as of yet. I might be biased but I certainly recommend following her if you don’t and you like Strange Magic. The post seemed like it would be fun to draw, which it was. :)

A little early, but in honor of @magicalstranger13 ‘s fanfic-iversary.  I thought it would be fun to do a quick sketch of the four Dark Forest kings.

Top left:  Thunder King

Top right:  Briar King

Bottom left:  Bog King

Bottom right:  Rock King

If anyone wants to color this, feel free to do so, but make sure to give proper credit where it’s due.

So I don’t know how it got in my head but I began comparing the cast of Strange Magic with the classes of the original final fantasy, which led to this mash-up. Marianne took the role of the warrior class because she fights with a sword and her hair style actually reminds me of the hair style of the original warrior class. Bog  was cast as the black mage due to his staff. Sunny is the thief because originally the thief was an elf in Final Fantasy, and Dawn is the white mage. Finally, Roland is mashed-up with the villain of the original Final Fantasy, Garland, because they are both traitor knights. It was interesting coming up with ideas and I received  quite a few good suggestions from @magicalstranger13.

The Struggle

My girlfriend trying to tickle my feet is why I have trust issues.

I’ve been toying around with photoshop and turning photos of people I know into paintings. The First is one of myself, followed by a young lady who wishes to remain anonymous. The others are members of my family.

My mother was having fun today talking about how you can never get there because when you get there it becomes here, so you’re never there. You can also interchange “here” and “there” with “today” and “tomorrow” or “now” and “later.” English is fun.

I just discovered that Alan Cumming played the voice of a crocodile in a Korean-American computer animated kid’s film called “The Outback” in 2012.

The crocodile’s name was Bog!

So just for fun I wanted to see how close I could get to creating the Bog King in Skyrim using existing mods. I was actually quite surprised with how it came out. Still looks nothing like him really but even so. lol. Blame my girlfriend who got me addicted to Strange Magic. XD

Now if only you could find a way to get Alan Cumming to voice this creation…

That might be quite the feat. But could you imagine having Alan Cumming as a  custom voice set for your characters in Skyrim?  As long as it wasn’t as flat as Patrick Stewart’s in Oblivion. Although I think it was likely due to poor direction.

Imagine if we could get his armor or Marianne’s. I’d never stop playing Skyrim lol

If I had more time to actually create mods rather than just utilizing someone else’s then maybe we actually could. Of course I’m sure there are more people out there that know how to use Blender. lol. Actually might be a fun exercise to try, although I think that I’d have to create a whole new body replacer just for Bog. lol. Or make a “Goblin King” race.

Lol, thanks! Though in the future I should actually get some proper artwork up rather than just mucking about on Skyrim’s character creation.
