Hey wilt, have you met any imaginary friends at fosters that look really creepy and/or uncanny looking, but are actually nice? I can imagine that those friends would have a more difficult time getting adopted than others due to their appearance.

Oh there are definitely imaginary friends that are more than what meets the eye! Some kids purposefully make their imaginary friends look creepy just to scare their other friends. It’s unfortunate since a lot of these ‘creepy’ imaginary friends can be really sweet! We’ve actually had to keep some of these friends in the house during adopt a thought Saturdays since we would get complaints from parents about these imaginary friends being too disturbing. It’s definitely not okay that these imaginary friends get misjudged so harshly just because of their appearance. Some of them are convinced that they’ll never get adopted and it hurts to see them have those thoughts, especially as someone whose been in the same boat.

Brainworm got me again, its all started from one little thought about human version but then i kept changing stuff to make it more logical since they are people here and not imaginary friends

was pretty hard changing them so that their visual features remain the same, i am not a designer or something ☠️

had the opportunity to be part of a cartoon network fanzine! (cranky_labs over on instagram!) I was lucky enough to be tasked with doing something Samurai Jack related 😌 love this show so much, grew up with it and it's still to this day a big inspiration!! I also had the pleasure to do a Johnny Bravo sticker and a Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends acrylic charm!
