When Logan was out, Nova and Luke could do really whatever they wanted. Mostly they’d watch movies, read books, but sometimes it meant kissing. Which is what they were currently doing. Nova sat straddling Luke’s lap, her hands cupping his face as the two of them made out. 

They were so preoccupied by each other neither noticed the door unlock or open. Nova didn’t notice anything until she heard the younger woman clear her through, at which point she pulled away from the kiss and looked up. Logan was back. Nova swallowed hard as she slid off Luke’s lap, and sat beside him. She felt a heat come to her cheeks as she instinctively wiped her sleeve over her mouth for no real reason.
