Where the HELL am I?

There is an innate sense of irony in the fact my purpose is to tell time and set all the clocks my dad built, yet despite the whole punctual time keeper thing rhythm games are always just slightly off. Like, I will spend WAY too long trying to FC something, only to get one early hit abruptly in any given part of the level. Every time. How can I full combo several boss levels on RD on my first blind read, but I can't complete Intimate [NO I AM NOT KIDDING.] or Lucky Break because a single early hit always happens Are my cogs just gummed up or something??? My reaction time is consistent for everything else, so why not this?????? aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
