Just finished City in the Sky.

Getting to travel on Epona after walking and running for so long must feel like the greatest blessing for Link. I can feel that just playing the game lol.

Feels so freeing to ride on Epona across Hyrule after walking in an enclosed space for hours.

also her in her royal headwear as a kid. Ik many people who find it ugly but i love it to death—genuinely my fav zelda fit next to blue ALTTP dress. I take no slander on it.

holy shit that was intense.. i just wanted to QUICKLY check out grease pencil, made a small messy sketch and then locked in so hard that i've spent the next three days animating for twelve hours a day (my wrist is on fire)

there was actually no legs ocarina at first.. he was just looking at someone and then waved at them. but i thought "fuck it we ball" and i think that was the point of no return

overall i was pleasantly surprised, i really enjoyed working with grease pencil... until i got to coloring and got so mad i wanted to abandon the whole thing, or export lineart and color it in krita. but i'm a stubborn little shit, so i just kept going and reopening the app every time it would crash over and over and over and

so yeah, apart from the background, everything was done in blender through blood and tears and it was an interesting experiment

it's actually an experiment that I was forced into because I had to spend a day on my second OS, got bored, installed krita on there, didn't have my regular brushes but wanted to paint SO BAD. and here we are (Twilight was also part of the experiment but I don't really like how he turned out so shhhhh)

gonna drop this too, those are exploration sketches originally, but I kinda liked my first attempt so it's more of a ref sheet now.. and now I think that I should make ref sheets for the rest of them cause why does Time always look different, is it just me
