Face claim: Claire Rosinkranz. Appearance: Light strawberry blond hair, turquoise eyes, peach skin, mole under her right eye

Backstory: Grew up as an only child in a traditional pureblood family, where she was given a sheltered but loving childhood. Was originally believed to be a squib before discovering her magic and beginning to attend Hogwarts in her fifth year. She is quickly enraptured by everything Hogwarts has to offer.

Backstory: Maryanne was born into a family with a well-known history and reputation. She grew up to ‘what a young lady should be’. Being the youngest, she was considered the favorite child of her parents, causing her older sisters to resent her. She originally attended Beauxbatons with them before transferring to Hogwarts. She’s still trying to be the dutiful daughter, but she also can’t help but be pulled in by all the opportunities her new world offers her

Personality: gentle, cautious, obedient, shy, polite, hardworking, caring, reserved, hesitant to try new things, workaholic, artistic, observant, helpful

Face claim: D'Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai. Appearance: Olive skin, dark red hair, pink eyes

Backstory: Sky was a muggleborn born into a large family that struggled financially and moved often. They couldn’t afford a proper education for everyone, so when he got his letter to Hogwarts, it was an opportunity to learn skills that could earn them more money. He always felt his family’s situation was unfair, and he only grew more aware of this as he learned more about the world. He wanted to devote his life to changing things for those less fortunate, and believed education was the key (why he became a professor)

Personality: tough exterior, soft interior, fiercely loyal, protective, hotheaded, intense, impulsive, brave, selfless, devoted, caring

INTJ, Slytherin, true neutral, Pureblood, he/him, pansexual

Face claim: Scott Eastwood. Appearance: Tan skin, blond hair, green eyes, freckles

Backstory: Renn was born into a pureblood family that identified heavily with traditional pureblood politics. At a very young age, he accidentally walked in on something terrible that he couldn’t unsee. Since then, he’s closed himself off emotionally from the world, developing the early belief that all people are evil at heart. He instead found company with animals, who he grew to connect with more than with his peers. When he began attending Hogwarts he had the goal of becoming a magizoologist.

Personality: cold, aloof, serious, reserved, distrusting, perceptive, intelligent, very loyal (once you earn his trust), protective, considerate

Likes: dueling, studying, spending time with animals, prowling in his wolf form, writing, enjoying luxuries and pleasures

purity, humility, protection, devotion, love, loss

Tbh the original reason I chose this flower for her is bc I kept seeing it on Pinterest and it instantly became one of my favorite flowers🤭

for the symbolic meaning though, it does relate to her on many levels. I’m sure most of the traits listed above are self-explanatory, but I would like to dive into the aspect of loss.

This is a very common theme that present in her story; both the losses MC usually faces in-game, as well as several others unique to her. They are each and all cause her great pain, but in the end serve as hallmarks in her character growth and development.

Jocie: Pink primroses

young love, optimism, protection, affection, femininity, unrequited feelings

Once again, originally chose this flower because I thought the name suited her tastes🤭 And I’m sure you can relate its meaning to her personality.

for the unrequited feeling aspect, I feel like this could reflect upon not only the AUs where Ominis rejects her overwhelming affection, but also the one-sided care she seems to have for most people.

As you might know, she doesn’t have the best relationship with her family, which is very dysfunctional; so she often feels like her love for them is unreturned or not reciprocated as strongly. Even when she does find someone who loves her back, she can’t help the lingering doubt that it won’t last or isn’t true.

Mund: ghost orchid

a rare flower associated with mystery, impermanence, memory, grief

Some of you may know this, but his father passed away when he was young. Because of this, he’s always carried his grief and depression onward with him in life. Hence “the ghost flower”; I think a clear representation of his father’s visiting spirit🤍

This event and its effects on Mund were so profound I believed this flower was best suited to him. (Wish this section could’ve been longer but I think it gets to the root of it….get it🤭)

Ace: yellow petunias

resilience, love, strength, but also sometimes hidden disappointment

Ace was a bit harder to find a flower for, but in the end I settled for a petunia: more specifically a yellow petunia, which, alongside a petunia’s base meaning, can also represent dissatisfaction or disappointment.

This can apply to several things; the resentment he carried toward his deadbeat dad, his love for Bee (which is unrequited in inverses where she’s shipped with someone else)…but most of all disappointment toward himself. For being unable to properly provide for his family. For being unable to achieve his dreams. For just never being his definition of “enough”.

That alongside the petunia’s base meaning (listed above) I’d say encapsulate him well.
