Little life update

Hello, my dear people! Sorry for the lack of contact lately. I have been working every day since the end of last month and it really started to take a toll on me. More in terms of energy and physically. I have been a hard time to find time for being creative or working on projects.

YET I try my very best with my current MC challenge as much as possible. I will dedicate my little time to it, while also encouraging myself to work further on personal projects like my fanfic.

I originally had planned to open for comms again in July, but I will move it to mid-end August. Until then I have enough to do on my list and other things XD And also my much deserved vacation at the start of next month.

The firelord’s dragon flame

I may be super late, but I dont care!! After seeing the little clips of the ATLA movie I had to draw Zuko! I cant resist a handsome man with long hair, hehehe.

I really wanted to draw him fire bending, so I researched some bending figures and took the best one to make it work with a fire dragon :3 Most fitting of a dragon riding firelord, who got the lesson of the last dragons themselves.

With summer vacation now (more or less), I finally have some time for some little fun projects. One being doing this challenge for fun, but also to learn about other MCs a bit more! Not sure how long it will take to finish as I work through July and August, but I will do my best! 💛

How to enter:

HL Pride Month Day 13: Crush

Dain had a secret crush. A crush on a fellow Slytherin, someone easy to tease… and also this someone was taken.

Taken by sweet girl Alice, which he considered a friend just as he did for Damian. But he couldn’t ignore the ache in his chest some days. So he wondered if there was a chance, a possibility of them being that close how Damian and Alice were.

And in one universe this little hoping was reality…

Night had fallen over the highlands. For late spring it wasn’t cold anymore, but a warm fire still warmed the small area in the ruins. Sitting against the thick trunk of an old tree, was Damian and slumped in his arms rested Alice. Each of them held one of the usually active Nifflers, which now similar to their owner peacefully rested.

Damian had planed to let the two free that very day, bringing them to a safe island by the southern shores, where many other Nifflers lived. Yet when the moment came, they didn’t wanted to leave the side of the Slytherin. They clung to him with teeth and claws, eyes big and begging.

And that was all it needed. Damian couldn’t do it. Even so is last year was soon over and he had to leave somewhere they could be with him, he couldn’t let go of them. And they not of him.

Just like Damian couldn’t let go of Alice anymore. The invisible red string holding them together, nothing being able to tear it. And Damian would cherish those moments forever.

Since Sadly snatched my snake for her snake in the trade, I friendly kidnapped her cool Ravenclaw Cadfael and put him in a scene with my dear prefect Alistair :3

Catching Cadfael on the top of the Ravenclaw tower after curfew started, Alistair gave him a bit of company rather than to give him detention. After some silence, Al began to speak out old memories about him and his younger brother and how he missed his sibling. And when someone understood it best then it was Cad, who left 3 younger siblings behind himself.

Happy Birthday to my wifey, @speedysart

We’ve known each other for two years now, and I’ll never stop being grateful to Hogwarts Legacy for bringing me together with this incredible person. Even though we live thousands of kilometres apart, she feels just as close as if she were right beside me. Through thick and thin, she’s always been there. She’s a loyal friend I can count on without a second thought.

I’d already realised several months ago just how important she was in my life, but it’s only in the last few weeks that I’ve truly seen how much I can lean on her. She’s been my greatest source of strength, and without her, I’d find it very hard to smile, laugh and keep drawing after losing the most important person in my life. Even in my grief, she is there. And that is the finest proof of friendship one could ask for.

So yes, this drawing is here to show just how dear a friend she is to me and that she is my inspiration.

It’s been a truly traumatic time for me because, sadly, I lost my maternal grandfather on 22nd April, who raised me for 30 years, and last Saturday, my paternal grandmother passed away. In the space of two weeks, I’ve lost two members of my family, which has turned my life and my routine upside down.

Grieving is very hard, but I’m trying to get back on my feet bit by bit, to learn to love drawing again, and so on... I know, it's long...

Today is the day of birth of my lovely Ravenclaw. Similar like i did for Terzia I wanted to present him in his glory! So I not only put him in his usual prefect clothing but also gave him a special cloak :3

I thought a while and tbh Al would become a headboy in his last year as he is academically in the top but also when being just a prefect of great help and leadership.

Plus the half open hair style from his modern AU design, just because hehehehhe
