I know I've been me-posting a lot lately but that's because I've done so much this summer! I faced fears and experienced so many new things, I don't think there's a way to show it all here.

Wandering the medieval faire with @okamineko0 is definitely towards the top of that list, which is what inspired this art!

Lots of old art: oldest first, newer last. I was going through my gallery and there's many pieces I didn't post here because I didn't think they were "good enough" at the time.

Life is always changing. WE are always changing. Even the word "change" changes its feeling when you see it too much in one paragraph.

Change leads to growth and evolution. EVERYTHING is change

Time to unveil the other artist! No one guessed who it was, which is a shame because you were staring at 'em the whole time.

It's me! I drew the entire piece. I used to have that sharp, cell-shaded style back in 2022-2023 and lately I've been recreating it for laughs and giggles. I've got a whole style swap au based around the idea.

Anyway, thanks to all who entertained my little game. Joker moment achieved lol. Have a good holiday!

this thing has been rolling around on my desk since summer & i have painted it four or five times to try and get it right. finally succeeded, and here they are.

the bases the chest joints connect to are glued to the hourglass with epoxy, but otherwise the doll? sculpture? is strung with elastic, and i can take it apart like a regular bjd. as you can see, the moon & sun sides can either face in the same or separate directions.

the idea for the sculpt is legit just my brain getting stuck on the expression "hourglass waist" and immediately conjuring up this rpg boss.
