Denim--particularly selvedge and workwear--has been on our radar lately. Here are a couple of great styles we've loved and pinned to our Denim Board.

We’re on the open road for our big move, traveling through the states and up through Canada. Toronto or bust!
Here are a couple of shots of what we’ve seen along the way!
Places | Temescal Alley • Oakland, CA
This little community of creatives, lined with various shops, its own barbershop and café, has easily become one of our favorite weekend stops.
Here you can find well-informed, passionate shop owners who are at the forefront of the latest trends in fashion, horticulture, art, lifestyle and donuts…yes, donuts.

Mas que nada by Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66
This song has started many of our days.
Especially love the set design and fashion of the 60s shown in this video…and of course, Eartha Kitt!

"Early on a winter morning during Ramadan, I went to the bank of the Buriganga River near the Sadarghat Boat and Launch Terminal in Dhaka, Bangladesh," writes Your Shot member Md Rafayat Haque Khan. "I saw a few boys swimming and playing in the river. This scene brought me back to the simpler days of being a child and caught in small moments that seemed so magical—such a serene, peaceful [moment], the kid representing the golden moment of life."

Years by Bartholomäus Traubeck
Media artist, Bartholomäus Traubeck, has discovered a new way to create music—tree-ring music—from a cross section of a tree.
Much like a record’s grooves, he plays the tree’s rings, which create a series of piano tones, or sometimes just single notes, that come together to form a beautiful composition.

Büro System via SocioDesign
"We created a new brand name, identity and packaging system that focused on the utility of Büro, removing the prettification and emotion that is more typically found in the branding of cosmetic and fragrance products. The use of unprocessed materials in the packaging helped to communicate the purity of the ingredients, thereby embodying its essence in our brand concept."
