Assertive, a bit aggressive with his honesty. Speaks his mind. Sometimes wondering if he’s out of his mind. Argumentative. Willing to talk or punch it out. Would prefer to take the easy way, but as the say: The more you learn, the less you know. He understands the stakes of danger and does not see mankind as disposable game pieces.

Then Vs Now

His eyes were set for the Military Police. Made it ranked 6 out of 10. Ready to embrace the easy life from within Wall Sina. But after the Battle of Trost, and the tragic death of his classmate Marco Bodt, Jean realized he can’t just turn a blind eye. Scared and determined, he chose to dedicate his life to the Scouting Regiment.

"Why, you want another gift, Frey? Guess I can find you another gift..." Every year, Jean was lucky enough to be spoiled by his dear ol' mom with new boots for the job. And not everyone had a god damn mom like Jean did. Really, he should spread the wealth around.

Jean's attention is only so focused, just to watch the birthday boy as he tries the fire whiskey. He roars with laughter.

"ISREAL!" Jean wraps his arm over Frey as some sort of celebratory side hug. "Let's take one of those portrait photograpies now. Before either of us get more shit-faced." He points to the opposite direction of where the photographer vendor is on the street.

Jean always used his vacation and sick days right away. He believed that although time is money, because the government liked to tax, vacation payout shouldn’t be taxed, so might as well use it on the spot and end up working Christmas with regret.

“Not much. They added ‘parmesan truffle fries’ to the menu. Apparently it’s not CBD related. Want some?” He opens up the foam box, fries still crisp, seasoned with thyme, salt and garlic.
