One thing I love about the Astro Boy fandom and the people that make the show versions
they never deter from the original design. They never go, “oh, let’s make him BUFF AND COOL AND SHIT”
they’re just like, “nah. little bby robot boy? perfect”

So I was just gonna edit Aile until she looked more X style but then bling happened. Also a reasonable alternative to growing a mullet
megaman classic bosses: hey everyone, this is ribbon man. he’s a funny robot made entirely out of ribbons, and hes weak to scissor man’s weapon! :)
megaman x bosses: Titanium Piranha was originally built with the purpose of transporting metal across the ocean. However, after his master died in a shipping accident, he turned Maverick and slaughtered his entire crew. Sigma turned him into one of his 8 fighters and Pirahna’s last wish is to die at the hands of X.
As funny and accurate as this is, the Classic series has Burner Man who is forced to burn a forest a day so he wouldn’t explode from a (non-existing) bomb King put into him.
What if iris loved an idea of what Zero was, but failed to see who he was
From my perspective, this is practically canon - the way I see it is more along the lines that Iris is someone who is very naive and susceptible to viewing things at face value/in black and white (which makes sense, as she’s based on the compassionate and kind side of X) as evidenced by how easily she bought into General’s propaganda. To Iris, Zero was a “cool mercenary” essentially, a “good guy” or “hero”, and things like the murky morals of the Maverick Hunters as a whole and Zero’s personal flaws such as his pride and stubbornness never occurred to her until it was far too late.
Forgot my sketchbook so here’s some lined paper gArbage.
Do you ever find yourself drawing certain characters just so you can listen to their theme over and over again?
Totally not what happened with this I swear…
I wonder what DID happen to them.
the world needs more atlas (in camo pants).

Mega Man~
This one screenshot sums up the entire plot of the Mega Man X series.
I've been reading some of your stuff about your interpretations about the X series and such. If you don't mind me asking, what are your views regarding the Repliforce? I've seen so much conflicting views about them, especially about Iris, so I'm wondering if there was a hint of sympathy for them to you.
They were children/newbuilts and I’m fairly sure no one gave them an ethics class, so it’s very arguable that Iris didn’t quite understand what she was saying in the world/place w/o humans conversation.
I have trouble being sympathetic to them because they put their own pride before genocide and also before their own survival, so what did they expect to happen/dying was a natural consequence of that. On the one hand they got what they asked for, on the other they were really too young to know better
Fair enough. Although it did bug me that the Final Weapon was presumably used as a space colony, just as the General wanted independence. But for some reason it has a big gigantic laser connected to it, to which even then General acts like it wasn’t supposed to act like it was going to fire earth.
Speaking about Iris, I believe she and Colonel were tragic characters, in the literature sense of tragic. They were doomed from the beginning due to their AI being bonked, which both were practically forced to act as who they were intended to be rather having the capability of different judgement.
Also maybe she meant the world in space? They were in a space colony after all, but at this point the story is too broad to have a single viewpoint on it.
PHOTOGENIC STARMAN
That Starman was not on that cover despite being there in the manga (while Cut, whose only presence was by proxy, was) has always been utter tragedy.
Star deserves a cover damn it!
