Sailor Moon screencap re-draw! I never fail to cry during this scene of the SuperS movie. The panic on Usagi's face?? Heart wrenching.

Jacky waits, the first real thread of fear coiling around his gut, his knees aching from being pressed into the hard stone, but Queen Cinnia says nothing. Her eyes are vacant and far off, and when a moth approaches, dipping and fluttering awkwardly in the air, she doesn’t even lift a hand for it to perch upon.

"My Queen?" Jacky finally prompts, voice quavering with unease. He tries to mask the feeling with a smile when she moves, but she doesn’t acknowledge him in the slightest. She simply outstretches her arm, blinking slowly when the tired moth finally lights upon her fingers. 

"Perhaps,” she murmurs, her eyes finally catching on the moth dust swirling into a message, “if you're lucky, he'll forget." Cinnia waves vaguely towards the doors. Jacky hesitates, wondering if she’s truly dismissing him - but he is far too eager to leave her presence. He stumbles in his haste to bow and turn away. "Perhaps," she says again, voice soft, even as the word snaps at his heels.

Paid the first of the years bills this morning, which really seems to make the year feel like its actually started now.

I missed working on Jacky, and I always need practice on lighting.

Sometimes you just have to ink the heck out of some trees!! After two weeks of being creatively stagnant, I worked on this for about 4 hours yesterday - and then slept like the dead.

To think, though, that 13 year old me absolutely hated drawing trees!
