So it’s been a couple weeks and unfortunately I have gotten all the way through season 3 without posting anything…doesn’t that say something about the season?

I love Mother Hodge (she’s iconically awful) but the fact that Marcia Cross was pregnant with twins so she had to leave the show for 7 episodes…the writers really had to rush through that storyline, huh.

So then we get coma Mike and Ian Hainsworth, whose biggest personality trait is being rich. The Carlos & Edie saga…ugh.

Also the rich Zach Young storyline with the world’s worst wig. You sort of have to respect it, though - the stylist definitely just wanted to fuck his shit up.

can we just talk the fact that Susan and Mike are on and off so much and I get that it’s for dramatic purposes but I am also so sick of it. Everyone else has other shit going on and Susan’s number one problem is ALWAYS that either she or Mike fucked up their relationship again. I know there’s lots of Susan hate so I’m not trying to dogpile but it’s just so boring 🥱

I grew up watching desperate housewives when it would have reruns on Lifetime and they would play a bunch in the afternoon during the summer. it was extremely nostalgic and and some truly iconic shit was happening!!

I am just about done with rewatching S1 (don’t ask when I started it’s extremely embarrassing) and here’s my thoughts thus far to catch us up:

Tom Scavo is a fucking DOG which is really an insult to dogs. When I watched as a kid I thought he was handsome and youthful but now as an adult I would like to personally run him over with a bus George O’Malley style #007

I loved Martha Huber and I SWEAR TO GOD I thought she was in the entire show???? So when Paul killed her I was like okay this is nuts how is she gonna come back from this? Is she faking her own death? Nope, just fucking dead. How insane that a character from a handful of episodes had such a fucking IMPACT like RIP you drama queen

Susan is the most annoying character on any show almost ever (I know this is a common feeling but I just had to include myself in the we hate Susan club)

Bree is carrying the whole show on her fucking back and also she has the OG gay son thot daughter

Anyway...

I am excited to keep rewatching and dropping in every once in awhile to share my dumbass takes and maybe some memes and also really just act like my girl Felicia here sipping the tea (also can we talk about her fuckass bob please)!
