Booth is this crazy thing that we here at Carnegie Mellon do. It’s when a whole organization (in my case, my sorority, Tri Delta), gets together and builds two story structurally sound houses that are fully electrically wired. It’s competitive. We do everything by ourselves. It’s insane--one of the most rewarding things that I’ve done throughout my college career.

And here is our booth this year! Again, I was in charge of one of the rooms (this time, the top floor). I painted all of the paper mache monsters, as well as added details like feathers, yarn, clay. I also did most of the detailing on the walls on the top floor.

I’m currently working on a project with an HCI professor at Carnegie Mellon University. This is the robot, Calliope! I was given free reign to create costumes for the robot to make it “cuter” and more kid friendly. In the future, the robot is supposed to teach kids how to program :) feel free to check out my snapchat quality video of Calliope in action here (x)
