ok ok imagine whumper is just done with whumpee. for whatever reason, they just dont want them anymore. but rather than giving them the easy way out by killing them, whumper takes whumpee to a remote location and just leaves them there.
its so far from any civilization that their chances of finding help are already slim, but combining that with how weak they are makes it virtually impossible for whumpee to find help.
there are a few ways this could go with a whumpee who DOES try to find help:
1. whumpee is determined to take this opportunity, no matter how terrible it is, but they die quickly in the wilderness, their second chance over before it really ever started.
2. whumpee spends a long time in the wilderness trying to find civilization. they hunt for food, brave the elements, try to avoid being mauled by animals (whether they fail at this or not is up to you), etc. theyre determined to find help but their time in the wilderness is so painful and exhausting that they almost give up.
-> 2a. whumpee's resilience pays off and theyre eventually rescued.
-> 2b. after everything whumpee endured both under whumper and in the wilderness, they eventually die.
3. OR, if you wanna be extra nice, whumpee, by some stroke of insane luck, is rescued relatively quickly.
but then of course there's the possibility that whumpee is found by someone who goes on to become their new whumper....,,,, if you wanted to be extra super duper cruel
and then there's ALSO the possibility that whumpee is already so broken down upon being left there by whumper that they don't even try to survive.
