“Oh no.“ Emmett said automatically in a monotone was a reaction but not truly caring. “I think there’s a mated compass down here, right? If the cat means that much to you, I’m sure they’ll help out.“

“You are way more involved than the liaison where I used to live,” she didn’t bother to hide the surprise in her voice. “I wouldn’t want to get in anyones way by staying with them. Besides I’d like my own place eventually so might as well do it now you know?”
“We’re all family here. You’ll learn soon enough. It makes our locals standout more,“ Emmett said, shrugging her comment off as nothing. “I understand. The heavies will be your best bet. They’ll found you whatever you need.“

"If you need a place to stay we have a lot of people with extra rooms or empty apartments," he offered. "As your liaison I can help with that. The heavies run real-estate here if you need to get in contact with someone."

Achilles pushed himself up off the ground and looked up at the man. He knew that face off of the board in GOLD’s hq, and held back the explitives. “It’s fine man, it happens. You look dressed up. I’m guessing you’ve got something big tonight?” He brushed the snow off of his legs.
Emmett blinked, not expecting their conversation to go that route. Maybe Kaylor was right and wearing suits did change people prospective. “Nah. I was picking up an order for my wife’s shop. She has a thing about having fresh flowers around and them making people happier.”

Tiggy landed hard in the snow, the bag she was carrying flying up and landing next to her head. “Merde!” she took a breath trying to reorientate herself. “Dude, are you made out of stone or something?” she asked as she started to push herself up.
“Sorry! Let me help,“ Emmett shifted Lyla’s flowers in his hands and picked up the bag that landed next to her head. “How did you know? Forged from stone is my maiden name.“ He joked.

Minsky ran a hand over his face, frustrated he let the mask slip. “Bad mood. We’re good Wilhelm. Bring them by tonight and I’ll make sure my mentees are there to greet them.”
“That wasn’t so hard.“ Emmett smiled. “I’ll get outta your hair... Waves?“ Emmett gestured to Minsky head before shaking his head and making a beeline towards the exit. “Later!“

Monty pulled the car to the side or the street and stared at him. “Why can’t I bring you to the warlocks? Aren’t you ruled by both?” Monty frowned and pulled out his phone to text Vincent. “25-40 isn’t exactly a narrow range.” He still wrote down the description and after a few minutes radioed in the APB. “It sounds like it’ll need to be a human shifter who can actually grab her. Do you have any guesses on her powers?”
“Are you saying all witches and warlock are the same? Doesn’t the academy teach you about speciesism?“ Emmett’s voice and facial features showed that he was offended but he couldn’t careless; he didn’t want to deal with Kudzai or Ronan; especially if she was what he thought she was. “I’m over 500 and I stop aging in my mid 20′s. Do I look like a 26 year old to you because I can’t tell age when it comes to people like me... Maybe 24 to 36 but 25-40 is more accurate.“ Emmett sighed.
“I would mention that she is extremely dangerous and not to be approached. Maybe for someone to reach out to me or one of the Council members when she’s found. That’s the thing, everything pointed towards an elemental user but baby has a arcane kick to her. Maybe creation or animation but she has to know a few elemental spells or cruses... Meaning she a young uncontrolled badass that found out she had magic and started practicing on her own. Where you here for the 1926 magically incident? That! That is why I need to get outta here.“
In his Cop Car
Monty shut the door on the supernatural, grateful that he was the first one on the scene. He gave a nod of thanks to the other office who volunteered to clean up the mess and slid into the drivers seat. Monty readjusted the rearview mirror, knowing that the cuff should hold the supernatural, but still not wanting to let them out of his sight. “I won’t be bringing you to lock up and the crime scene evidence will be lost, but I need to know if there is anything else I need to have cleaned up. Before we get to your boss’s place.”
“Hello, Officer Wilders.“ Emmett sighed getting comfortable in the back seat of the police cruiser. “Just drop me office at my apartment. I can give you the address since Jace is off the grid with one of his mentees, Minsky is unavailable... Trust me. And Rhiannon is working a double. You know you can’t take me to the Warlock Council members,“ he explained. “And once you’re back at the office I’m going to need you to put an APB out for a Asian female with black hair between the age of 25 and 40. She has on a white long sleeve shirt and bellbottom blue jeans. If you can add that she is extremely dangerous. I was told she might be telekinetic but I think she’s something else... The guy came out of nowhere. She seem shocked. Next thing I know I’m knocked out and the man is dead.“
