I felt like playing with symmetry. And a bit of randomness. The result? Randomly assemble a few elements and see what comes out. I'm happy with it. Especially with the asymmetrical frog. 🐸

I can only dream of a vacation, but at least I can feel the summer vibe. 🦩🌿🌸

More seriously, I really like those big eyes and those squiggly legs. It's been a while since we've seen anyone from Fern Land. So it's no wonder this one sneaked in... 🚶‍♂️

Remember that harlequin flamingo? I wanted to make another Alkonostos. And I ended up with something similar, though less feminine in shape and composed of more birds – there are pieces of several owls, a heron, a flamingo, and a parrot. 🦩🦉🦜

And the third attempt – I'm very happy with it. Is it an flamingo-Alkonost, or a strange harlequin... 🦩

I don't know why, but there's something I really like about this. The swords? That smirk from behind the hat? 👄

I found a painting of this chick* and knew I wanted to make a collage with her. I started playing around, cropping and rotating, and ultimately created three completely different works, all with one common element: this girl. 🚶‍♀️

I started with something simple, which I really like, a mushroom mermaid. Just to warm up. The whole thing has an aura of sultry summer for me, with grasses being the only thing that offers a bit of respite. 🍄‍🟫🌾☀️

What fun I had…! I already recommended the game "Scriptorium: Master of Manuscripts" when Hornet's "manuscript" was published.

Now I've been working on a scene from the comic "First Chapter Quirrel", where my favorite Pillbug meets Hornet for the first time. You can read the entire comic/chapter HERE, but I'm including the section I wanted to illustrate below: the conversation, the swirling threads, the jump and attack, and the mask's protective reaction. It was a lot of fun to show everything AT THE SAME TIME. 🕷️🪳

I made this as a continuation of THIS collage, as a kind of the "what tools I can make" game. Not all of them are my favorites, but I had fun.

Whatever. I might be repeating myself, but I really like this triptych, a collage one next to the other. 🐒🦒🐘🐛

But you can't place three next to each other, so the fourth had to join the others. It's a rejected version of the monkey from a time when there weren't three pomegranate seeds. I prefer three. Like in the myth of Persephone.

The third collage, because I like triptychs. And again: pomegranate, ferns, and caterpillars. And an elephant. 🐘

I like elephants. Elephants are nice ❤️

What came out of it was a small, simple series with exotic animals. But I had fun. 🐒

I'm starting to wonder... if they have antennae and four arms, and the skirts of their dresses are made of wings... then how do they fly? 🦋

It's a very simple collage. Made of only five pieces. In terms of complexity, it's more of a "sketch" than a "collage." But who says simple things aren't nice and enjoyable? ✂️🦋

I still don't know if it's an insect girl or an elf. She doesn't have wings (sort of)... Hmm... how many arms do elves have? 🧚‍♂️
