Helena was confused at first, but nothing seemed to be right those past few days. All she could do, and should do, would be to be there for Dominique and to help her with whatever she’d need help. It was the right thing to do as part of the family that would lead the Eirene coven. “Don’t worry. You’ve just scared me, that’s okay. We can go back to the bookstore, I’ve just closed it so no clients will disturb us.” She replied, hoping that it would give Dominique some peace of mind while her hand touched the woman’s shoulder to reassure Dominique that Helena was, indeed, there for her.
Helena listened to everything Dominique had to say carefully, nodding her head when she felt she should let the woman know that she was paying fully attention and once Dominique was no longer talking to Helena, she sighed. Those days were indeed bad; maybe even worst than Helena assumed it would be. “Nadina is trying to hurt you? We can stay inside, maybe I can call Cassidy later to approach her about this. And if she tries to find you, I’ll protect you… okay?” And with that she turned to head back to the bookstore, right next to Dominique so the witch wouldn’t feel alone or insecure.
Or you’ll also be the cause of her death. Helena heard, she couldn’t quite tell who was talking this time. Her father or her enemy. And instead of giving it attention, she tried to ignore it. “Maybe you’re imagining it, or did you actually see her around you? When was the last time you’ve met her?”
Dominique felt so much better when Helena spoke to her, she made her feel less insane as they two spoke more. “Thank you Helena, you have no idea how much I owe you for this.” As they began to walk towards the bookstore, Dominique began to think when the last time she saw Nadine was. “It’s the weirdest thing, she has a key to my apartment so she came in which was unusual but started threat me and saying things that she would never say... It was like I wasn’t her best friend I was her enemy... It scared the hell out of me. I can’t reach her which scares me even more so I thought maybe I could see if there was a spell or something to help... Why do you think I would be seeing her?” Dominique glanced at her, almost surprised she hadn’t evaporated.
“I don’t want to sound crazy but something else is up but I don’t know if Nadine is just messing with me...” Dominique began, frowning softly it was rare for her to frown or to cry but lately it seemed to start become part of who she is becoming. It’s just a lot is going on and I don’t know what to believe and not to believe anymore.” She began to question if Nadine was real or not, she hoped she wasn’t because if she wasn’t things would be a lot easier on her then they were now. Dominique licked the bottom of her lip before taking a deep breath. “Well there is this rather odd thing happening that I wasn’t going to mention because I just assumed it was Nadine casting an evil spell on me, but I can’t seem to hold anything without it... Without it like evaporating... Now I know that sounds crazy but I’m not going crazy, all this started happening when I woke up from my nap yesterday after the eclipse!” Dominique suddenly became nervous, she was nervous because what if Helena didn’t believe her and decided not to help her with the situation. Dominique felt helpless already and not having the bookstore to help would make everything worse. “Please believe me.” Dominique begged.
