i can't stop thinking about this. this kind of shit is not like milsim plane nerds with their own super-expensive desktop cockpit recreations. that kind of hardware makes sense to exist.

this does not. they're playing world of tanks which is like the "call of duty" of tank games (casual, players only slightly bad-smelling). it also doesn't have support for tank peripherals. no game does. no trainers do afaik. which means that (assuming this isn't just a video editing) all of that shit they are fucking with translates into mouse/keyboard inputs that the game understands. that's weird/hard and perplexing, uh, and considering that "tank peripherals" aren't a thing that exist i can only guess they built them theirselves

which is fucking hilarious because why are they so good. why does the fucking cannon breech have a little dry ice smoke effect when the breech opens like they just shot a shell. what. manual turret traverse crank?? did they build a fucking ready rack!! they're even using the correct phraseology which means one of these mofos read a PDF file

Varik Toraernos - Psx Model

Hello everyone, I've completed another 3d model, my 3rd humanoid one in-fact. This one didn't take me two long, only taking me the 2 weeks of my winter break, although it could very well be the same hour count but just spread out over a lesser amount of time, I'm not really sure.

Anyways between this and my last youtube upload I hope its pretty clear I have something cooking up lol. If all goes according to plan I'm going to make a sort of demo game that remakes the Earthbound Halloween Hack's Twoson in 3d. It's not going to be a full game as I'm going to simply do this as practice for future games so, even Twoson won't have all the npcs, I'm only going to add some fan favorites because these models take so long to make lol. Also I will be modifying combat to be something closer to what I would like to do as again this is for practice. I suppose if theres lots of interest I could expand this in the future but for now this will just be a demo that I will release for people to play. so yeah :>

Haven't seen anyone talking about it here, but vocal transfeminist and writer Tara Knight has been sent a threat from the fbi insisting that she stop speaking about "radical gender ideology" and get rid of the past 3 years of her work.

A black trans woman is getting personally threatened by the fbi for being a transfeminist. What the fuck. Hopefully this gets more reach than my usual posts so that people who are able to can support her.

New demo for a game I'm making!! Check it out!

Wanted to practice creating prerendered environments akin to whats seen in playstation squaresoft games as I would like to do a game in that style. I was very intimidated to model objects since I started off modeling people. While I need some improvement with my modeling I didn't do too bad. Anyways, I created the basic shading effects through following some 90s cgi related tutorial and then went in and painted some extra details using using krita. Best I can tell this is close to the method actual old prerendered background used to use. I chose to do Noelle's room because the angles are so fucked in game, I thought it would be interesting to see everything in the same perspective.

Posted this on X/Twitter, but felt like it needed to be posted here as well.

This is something I have been dwelling on for a while, but I feel now is the time to release a public statement. I hope to eventually delete this once my feelings are known.

I want nothing to do with NEW OFF Fangame, and have requested its removal from the SpinOFF wiki. The audience this game has attracted does not reflect my values and it has been a struggle to see people who claim to be fans of my work act so vitriolic towards myself and others.

These fangames are supposed to be mine and other people’s passion projects, but seeing how NEW has been used to demean others has sucked the passion out of me. I feel like my game and its dispersal has limited my enjoyment of developing other projects, because people want more NEW and expect me to want that too.

I know that once something is posted to the internet that it will never truly be deleted, but I hope that removing NEW from the wiki can drive the point home that it isn’t something to hold above everything else. I want, for myself and everyone as well, to move on.

To end proceedings, I wish for both myself and everyone else to move onto greener pastures. Thank you for hearing me out.

I finally made a new 3d model, or well I worked on a few in between this and the last one just all the other ones were really bad and I gave up. This one I started early august and finished yesterday, so it took me a lot less time than the prior one, and I think it looks notably better too.

If you're wondering why the image is so small it's because the renders are at like 480p or something for more authentic look and I didn't wanna blow them up too much. They are a bit which you can see if you look closely, but, whatever. Additionally the rigging for this model isn't great, some of the joints don't really rotate correctly and the face textures actually don't have a bone for them, it's just me going in and changing the UV mapping on her face for each render. So basically if I wanna animate her I need to re rig her slightly. Also sorry for being south park pilled recently, this model came to me while listening to Weezer so you know the idea was given to me by divine forces.

tl;dr -> this model isn't very good lol.

Also I'm STILL working on the comic, it'll be out, eventually.
