Lorna knew that he had joined the Brotherhood after losing his twin, but Wanda had been gone a long time.

"Of course not. Why on earth would I be talking about Pietro? He's dead and--I mean, really--super speed? Yeesh. I can think of about a million other super powers that would be useful in a time of crisis. Ah, oh my god, help me guy-who-runs-fast--? said nobody. ever."

That was deserved. Wanda knew it wasn't her right to be mad about the remark. Not after what she had done. Still, she felt the familiar curl of anger inside her stomach. It was a reminder that she was alive, but not fixed. Not entirely. The Darkhold was gone, but she was still grappling with her own actions while under its influence.

"You're looking lucid."

It was a true statement, but it wasn't meant to carry any barbs. Wanda knew she had left Agatha vulnerable when she had left her as Agnes, but it had seemed like the safest choice for everyone. Now, she had to come to terms with the fact that though she had tried burning the multiverse down in search of her children, Agatha was the one who had been with Billy.

Knowing she was approaching this the wrong way, Wanda paused. "I know we have our differences, Agatha, but I was hoping we could talk."

"ugh. No thanks to you."

Despite the words and the disgusted curl of her upper lip, Agatha was actually happy to see Wanda.

At least, that's what she's going to tell herself. The kid may have turned her soft but she wasn't quite ready to face that a tiny part of her was disappointed when she thought Wanda could be gone for good. Let alone what that even meant?

"Look, if this is about our mutual responsibility, we can skip the part where we braid each others hair." she paused, and then winced at herself because here Wanda was extending what seemed to be a bit of an olive branch and she was already trying to set it on fire. typical.

"I mean..." she paused, trying to find the right words. "--If its any consolation, you look better not dead." she added quickly, losing a bit of the attitude.

That was a compliment, right?

Agatha glanced at the blonde, giving her a quick sweep of her gaze. she was pretty--didn't look particularly mystic but one never really could judge a witch by her cover.

"It was a tower, actually." Agatha corrected. "--Besides, my sources imply something ...else might have happened to her, if you catch my drift."
