If his sister was around, she'd tell Johnny that he was being rude. He could practically hear Sue chastising him for letting their newfound notoriety get to his head, but he couldn't help it sometimes. "Right. You must want to talk to one of the others if you're here."
"The Fantastic Four, yes." Crystal nodded. "Any of them would work. The Invisible Woman, Mister Fantastic, the Human Torch, the Thing." She paused. "Do you know them?"
"nexus being, technically. but--sure. little g, though."
The term Nexus Being was an unfamiliar one. Crystal had studied some, but she had never been as studious as Medusalith. "Do you mind explaining? Nexus Being, that is. What is it?"
"...did you wanna try some? i can share."
"I think I would like that." Crystal nodded. "You're sure you don't mind?"
"Cling is a strong word, princess." He replied lightly as his tail flicked. "But I understand what your meaning. Maybe you could cling to the sense of adventure and piracy if you watched the movies? I promise you they're sure to shiver your timbers." Kurt replied lightly.
"So what word would you use?" Crystal asked. She was genuinely curious. It often felt like she was saying the wrong thing. She spoke English, but things still felt off. Listening to his words, a small smile grew on her face. "Perhaps. I'd like that, I think. Even if I'm not sure about my timbers being shivered."
"You may certainly ask. Whether or not I listen is a different subject entirely."
"And what gives you the authority to speak to me in such a manner?"
"You are glad to be trapped in this city of filth and mayhem?"
"I was trapped somewhere else before. It was far cleaner, but also far smaller. It was home." The only home that Crystal had known, actually. She felt a strange sense of guilt for having wanted to leave so badly. Hadn't the Inhumans remained isolated for a reason? For their safety? "At least the mayhem is interesting. I'll take it over political intrigue and plotting family members."
"And you don't need to be up in my shit, but here we both are, love." He projected as his flames churned in his chest cavity. He was getting anxious. Too many people and too much noise. He took a moment to try and calm himself but his breathing exercises haven't worked since his x-gene activated.
"I didn't mean to. It's just — it's so crowded here. It's impossible to walk without running into someone." Compared to Attilan, it was entirely overwhelming. Crystal had wanted to see the world outside of the bubble that the Inhuman's lived in, but she hadn't expected it to feel so big. Rolling her shoulders back, the Princess took a deep breath in. "You have my apologies."

"I have no idea how you could process any of that." Crystal had been trying to not watch the room's other occupant read, but her eyes kept getting drawn back to how quickly the pages were being turned. "You didn't actually read that, did you?"
"While this is not exactly how the Inhumans would have liked to make our presence known, I'm glad still to be here."
There were Inhumans who lived on Earth (apparently), but those Nuhumans weren't who Crystal were referring to. She meant those who had lived on Attilan, like herself. The real Inhumans.
"While my whole life has been turned upside down - again - and this whole world is quite different, at least they still have the pirates of the Caribbean movies."
"It must be comforting to have something to cling to." There was nothing from Attilan on Earth. It was terribly isolating. "I must admit, I haven't seen those, uh, movies," or any really "But they sound exciting."
"I understand that this has been a... difficult adjustment for us all. I can't answer as to why reality has wreaked this havoc, but I'd be happy to answer any questions related to my— to the X-Men."
From what Crystal had heard, the so-called X-Men didn't get along well with the Inhumans in most other realities. That was a shame. If there was anything she could do, they wouldn't repeat the pattern. There weren't enough Inhumans in New York to take a stand against the mutants, and she wasn't looking for violence even if there was.
"Professor Xavier." The princess clasped her hands together. "I thought it would be prudent to introduce myself. I'm Crystalia Amaquelin."
"—I'm sorry, could you repeat that?" Reed was easily distracted from conversation on good days, but with so much going on he was finding it more difficult than usual to stay present when being spoken to. He had no idea if he had just been asked a question, yelled at, made fun of, or maybe even all of the above.
"Were you not listening?" This was the man who they had said could help her — if anyone could. "You're Reed Richards, of the Fantastic Four. Am I in the right place?"
"Oh, yeah. It's real nice that we get to stay in this creepily abandoned complex until everything's sorted out. It's like a frickin' vacation if you ask me."
After spending her entire life in Attilan, any kind of change was destined to be a culture shock. To be ripped from her home and family out of nowhere had only worsened things. Crystal was glad, of course, to not be sleeping on the streets. That didn't mean she liked the accommodation's. "It's certainly... different from what I'm used to. How long will they let us stay here?"
"Shit must be pretty bad down here if they decided to call me all the way back down from space."
"You were in space as well?" After what felt like weeks of being confused, this woman was at least a light in the darkness of confusion. Crystal paused to study her for a moment. "You were not on Attilan."
"Huh? Oh-- sorry, I don't do autographs. I might be able to squeeze a selfie in, though."
"You don't need to apologize. I did not ask you for anything." Crystal wasn't quite sure a selfie or an autograph was. She also was unsure of who he even was, or why he'd warrant attention.
"I'll allow you to keep your throat this time, but don't suggest such a thing again."
"I must ask you to not speak to me in such a way." Even if she was lost and separated from her people, Crystal was still a royal.
