An Herb Bundle for Inner Peace and Protection of Your Home 🍃

Hi guys,

This was my first time working with herbs in a spell capacity and I created this with the intention of purifying and protecting my home!

Ingredients:

Rosemary -

For banishing, purification and protection

Chamomile -

For reduced stress, healing and love

Hyssop -

For purification and protection

Note: mint can be substituted for hyssop being in the same family. Mint can aide in love, healing and strength

Thyme -

For purification and healing

Roobios -

For rejuvenation and promoting inner peace

Note: also aides in dreamwork

Lemon -

For purification and cleansing (I personally use shavings but there are other ways you can use it)

Note: can also be substituted with lemon myrtle for love and protection

Rose -

To open your heart up to love and strengthen your psychic abilities

Linden -

For protection, love, healing and peace

Gather all the incredients together and seal them into a small bag (I found a bag that came off a sweater I just bought that held an extra button in it so don’t be afraid to get creative!) Enchant the bundle however feels most comfortable to you and then hang above your front door, the door to your room, or your bed!

Witch tip: I don’t have the ability to procure and make my own dried herbs so I just cut up old tea packets I found in my cabinet and added the ingredients according to their properties!

With any extra herbs you may have you can

Make more bundles for your friends

Bury them

Turn into a wonderful tea with a ton of incredible medicinal properties

Witch Tip: Add honey to your tea to bind the spell. Stir in clockwise with your intentions in mind and tap the spoon on the edge of the cup three times to enchant and seal the spell (is very lowkey but effective if you’re still in the broom closet around the people you live with).

Beautiful book full of green witchery and useful recipes, I adore this book a must have!

2) The Real Witches’ Year by Kate West

There is something for every single day of the year, Kate West’s work cannot be missed!

3) The Real Witches’ Craft by Kate West

Kate West tackles more advanced techniques in this book, taking your understanding to a deeper level.

4) Cunningham’s Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs

Cunningham’s works cannot be missed by aspiring witches, and this one is a book that you will always go back to! Full of Magical herbs usage, this is a must have.

5) The Illustrated Herbiary by Maia Toll

Amazingly fun book to have with illustrated cards inside, this book is very refreshing to have!

6) Practical Elementary Magick by Sorita D'Este and David Rankine

Sorita D'Este is one of the leading authors in witchcraft and together with David Rankine, she made a wonderful guide on how to use elemental magick within our practice. A must have in your library.

7) WTF is Tarot?…& How do I do it? By Bakara Wintner

Wish I had this book when I started out in tarot! Amazing guide on how to read the tarot with intuition!

8) -Bonus Book- Spirit Conjuring for Witches by Fater Barrabbas

For those who want to start their practice in Spirit Conjuring, this book is a very good start!

🌲 How to celebrate YULE  🌲

I thought to create a post about how to celebrate yule and also what you can do now that yule is approching! 

Make little wreaths out of juniper, pine, or cedar!

You can make your own christmas ornaments with oranges and apples and cinnamon sticks (along with cloves too, here’s a good tutorial on it! just click here)

Make a wishing cone! While I couldn’t find too much info on it, I believe you put wishes into the cone (you can add some herbs to enhance it) and then you light it or put it in a fire. However you could also just light a candle and put your wish upon paper and burn it. Cast it out into water and pour the water/ashes outside.

Make a witches ball for yule! And for for the coming new year so good things come!

A Simple Sun Charm

A simple sun charm to bring positivity into your life.

What You’ll Need

Sun water

Sunflower seeds

Sea salt

A seashell

A necklace or ring

Mortar and pestle

What To Do

Combine your sea salt with your sun water.

Crush up your seeds in the mortar and pestle, then take your crushed up seeds and place them in the shell.

Gently pour the water into the shell.

Put your necklace/ring into the shell.

Meditate and envision positive energies from the water going into the jewelry.

After you’ve finished meditating take the jewelry out, dry it, and wear it.

With the holiday season coming up and hours getting increased at work + seasonal jobs opening up, as well as companies screaming at you constantly “BUY, BUY, BUY!”, this is the time of year I feel most inclined to spend. We may even feel inclined to buy the most extravagant presents for our loved ones when we know we can’t afford it. Or maybe you just have a chronic reckless spending problem, and you need to stop buying for now and save for the future. This spell will bind you from reckless spending so you won’t feel caught up in the materialism that is the Christmas season. ✨

Moon phase;

preferably a new moon, but you can perform this on any night of the waning cycle (I’m performing mine this upcoming new moon on November 7).

Materials;

1 blue candle for willpower, patience, and focus.

1 piece of green aventurine (or any crystal that represents money for you)

1 receipt from something you bought but didn’t need (I had a few in the bottom of my purse, but if you can’t find any, you could even print out your bank statement, cut out a transaction of something you didn’t need, & wrap it in that)

1 black ribbon

Incantation;

“My need to recklessly spend money is tightly bound

And I bury those urges deep into the ground.

I want and am able to save money.

I am financially responsible so my future can be comfy.

This is my will, so mote it be.”

Directions;

As you say the incantation, wrap the crystal in the receipt and then bind it together with the black ribbon. When finished, circle it around the flame of the candle counter clockwise before blowing it out. Then bury it outside so you will never see it again.
