Anyone interested in watching me line some fanart? I'm trying out a slightly different technique, but I could totally set up a stream if anyone wants to watch? (it's Attack on Titan fanart, btw)
(also, it depends on whether my shit internet will play nice with a stream)
The sketch for my popular Aromantic Lovebird design. It went through a few changes, but not many.
My scanner died, so new paper sketches will all be photographed. Anyways, this is what I did instead of sleeping. More Warriors/Attack on Titan crossover, with some JeanMarco shit. Aka, Stoneshade/Spottedside.
Kitty!Marco/Spottedside has so many spots, I can't even! I don't even know if that's the final pattern for him, I just know he has hella spots in a classic tabby pattern.

OKAYOKAYOKAYOKAY!!! I'm fucking nerd garbage and over on my personal blog I've been doing a crossover with Warrior Cats and Attack on Titan, giving them warrior names and describing them as fucking cats (links are to said posts), and it's Levi's b.day tomorrow AND I DREW HIM AS A FUCKING CAT, YOU CAN'T STOP ME!!!!! I can't believe I actually put effort into this, I'm such a fucking dweeb, put me in the garbage where I belong. I have to be, like, the only person interested in this shit, omg!
(also rebound art after close to two weeks of shit motivation to draw, so it's meh quality)
A little cluttered because I have a terrible sense of space in my sketchbook, but you get the idea. A little less-refined than the bird cat, but the bird wolf is still pretty damn cool.
A WIP shot (though this panel is technically done) from the short comic I'm making (which is taking a helluva long time), Magic Woods. I just really really liked this panel.
Nope Nope Nope Nope Nope- Witchydigit
Vent art? Whatever, I just can't today. At least I could still draw this time, so have my 'sona, whatever the hell it is. Some kind of green kangaroo lizard? W/e, I'm done.

I love putting wings on things, they're so fun to draw. This was intended to be lined to make some adoptables, but I kinda' gave up on that front. Still, those wings are pretty damn nice.
Working on multiple things at once seems to make for slow progress, but hopefully once I finish a few things everything will pick up again. This is a warning that I'll start queuing some of my practice sketches and close-ups of some of my wip's, which will be tagged "sketch" or "wip" respectively. I may also post some of the stuff I've been writing, which will be tagged "writing," in case anyone wants to blacklist any of those categories. I'll try to avoid cluttering anyone's dash, but I also don't want weeks between updates.
Fluffy Skyrim fanfiction, female Khajiiti Dragonborn/Brynjolf from the Thieves Guild, because fuck, I just want to hug him. SFW, minor cursing, 2,383 words. Character’s name is pronounced ee-nel, that’s two “i”s, tumblr’s font is weird with capital “i”s and lowercase “L”s
———————————————————-
Iinel lashed her tail, ears tilted back to monitor her surroundings as she peered through the darkness that blanketed the landscape. Her companions continued to chatter, not heeding her signal for silence. The Khajiit turned to cast a slitted eye on her furless companions, raising a lip. “Honestly, how do you cope? You don’t understand any body signals, and you’re damn noisy to boot. Now shut up already.”
Delvin shushed the other two, offering an apology to his Guildmaster. “Sorry, ma’am, it’s just we’re all kinda’ hesitant to sneak up on a giant’s camp, y’know?”

Reblogging some fanfiction from my main blog, expect to see a bit more writing on here along with art.
The thing I'm working on won't be ready for a while because of those damn trees, so y'all get a peek inside my sketch book. I use paper when I do practice sketches, so some of these can get really weird as I try to figure things out.
I still can't figure out fuckin' trees. They're both solid and made up of many parts at the same time. it's infuriating.
Why do some aro people have a sensitivity to yellow?
I’m really not in the best position to explain, so anyone should feel free to correct me if they have better information.
But from what I understand, in general yellow is a very bright color, especially the bright yellows commonly used in flags, and especially in larger areas of color. I seem to remember that the person who raised the sensitivity issue was on the Autism spectrum, and yellows caused them to feel physically ill (nausea and headaches/migraines, if I’m not mistaken), though the color can still be unpleasant for non-Autistic people as well.
I’m sure cameronwhimsy, the creator of the current Aromantic flag, could phrase it better if my answer is confusing or if I’ve missed anything.
Aromantics are people who do not experience romantic attraction, similar to the way that Asexuals don’t experience sexual attraction. Many Aromantics will instead form platonic partnerships, or in other words, get “friend married.” Just like other groups of people Aromantics come in all shapes and sizes, from wanting close platonic partnerships, to being fine simply having many close friends, and from being allosexual (sexually attracted to others) in all its variations, all the way to asexual. While it’s true that there are a large portion of Aromantics that are also Asexual, not all are, and it’s perfectly fine for these people to engage in sexual relationships without being sexually and romantically exclusive with those people.
This bird sports the colors of one of the recent Aromantic Flags, which may eventually get an update, as the Aromantic community is still quite young, and discussions about the flag and more are still being figured out by the community, though the black/grey/white/light green/dark green seems to have resolved many issues with the old flags. Unfortunately, however, since the flag has gone through so many redesigns recently, there is not as much information circulating about the associations of each color. The colors are, however, similar to the patterns found on the Grey-Headed Lovebird of Madagascar (which is amusingly ironic), and is why I chose said parrot for this design. The yellow rose has traditionally symbolized friendship, but be careful sending these to any aromantic you know, because too much yellow can cause problems for some people with sensitivity issues. If in doubt, ask if your Aromantic has sensitivity issues with the color yellow. Behind the bird can be found an arrow, a play on the shortened form of this orientation’s name, “Aro.”
Second in my line of GSRD animals. Buy this design over on my Redbubble (also, if the design is problematic for anyone, tell me. I plan on making a version without the yellow rose for those with sensitivities)
'there is not as much information circulating about the associations of each color' yo as the designer of the dark green/light green/white/grey/black flag (and its previous incarnation with the yellow stripe) i can give you the meanings behind the colours (i’ll make a proper post for this in a sec): ~ Aromantic Green: green being opposite on the colour spectrum to red, which is often the associated colour of romance ~ The flag is divided into two spectrums. The green one and the black one.
The dark green-light green section represents the aromantic spectrum - including demi, grey, lith/akoi, wtf/quoiro, cupio etc. etc. The black-grey section represents the diversity of sexuality in the aro community - acknowledging aromantic allosexuals, aro aces, everything in between and variations thereof.
The white stripe represents platonic/non-romantic love, friendship, etc. (it was originally yellow because of the yellow rose of friendship but has been replaced with white because reasons)
Thank you so much! I'll edit the information in this piece to reflect this. I had attempted to find this information before posting, and knew I'd seen it somewhere before, but for the life of me I couldn't find it while I was writing up the description.
I have a terrible habit of forgetting to sign and date my work before posting it.
