I love science, and it pains me to think that so many are terrified of the subject or feel that choosing science means you cannot also choose compassion, or the arts, or be awed by nature. Science is not meant to cure us of mystery, but to reinvent and reinvigorate it.
Robert M. Sapolsky (via wordsnquotes)
Love bravely, live bravely, be courageous, there’s really nothing to lose. There’s no wrong you can’t make right again, so be kinder to yourself, you know, have fun, take chances. There’s no bounds.

pulchritudinous
(adjective) Defined as possessing great physical beauty, pulchritudinous is characterized as the highest level of beauty above beautiful, gorgeous, stunning, etc. Ironically, the word pulchritudinous connotes a counterintuitive feeling due to its foreign Latin root, “pulcher,” meaning “beautiful.” For this reason, the word seems counterintuitive and its aesthetics and phonetics suggest an off-putting nature rather than an attractive quality. Love is many things, none of them logical.

USFS Championships were awesome this year. I loved watching all the skaters, but I think this skate was one of my favorites. Wagner's free skate was clean and really well choreographed. Out of the skaters I watched, I felt she had a great connection with her music from beginning to end, something that a lot of skaters ignore these days. Her circle step sequence could have used a tiny bit more flair and energy, but it was still an amazing skate and well deserving of the gold.
Also, mad props to youngster Karen Chen! Go watch her programs too. She's so small and yet she flies across the ice and her jumps are huge. And Joshua Farris has beautiful lines in his short program.
There was nowhere to go but everywhere, so just keep on rolling under the stars.
Jack Kerouac, On The Road (via wordsnquotes)
We cracked it.
The human heart constantly changes, and with that, we constantly experience different things. The heart is very hard to understand, even for the person who’s heart it beats for. But you can begin to understand the bits and pieces of it through sharing it with others.
Just one of those nights where everything seems to fall apart.
Yes...hello? You are an amazing person and friend. Ok. That is all. *drops mic*
