who would like a starter? if you’re an inquisition character i might make it surrounding when Gaeleen goes through “curing” her tranquility —-if that sounds interesting to any of you neat folks.

now listen up, okay, because lately i’ve seen A LOT of this around my dashboard on several of my blogs. I’m not the kind to address this sort of thing (or anything at all, really) but this is really starting to sadden me, so here we go. I know how you feel when your female character is getting ignored. In the beginning it’s nothing, but after awhile of people continuously overlooking your character, and therefor also the effort you put into that character, it gets to you and you start questioning if it’s even worth having the blog around at all. I’ve been there so many times. In my mere three years of roleplay on tumblr I’ve had only one male muse, and man I was blown out of the water, and none of my female muses, before or since then, have matched up. I know that it is so frustrating when you post opens, follow and approach people but keep coming out empty despite your efforts ---- it is really disheartening. Lately I’ve seen so many who decide to leave their female muses, and I don’t blame you. But it does sadden me, because I just feel like it’s such a waste of talent that so many wonderful writers and muses just go ignored for so long and then disappear. I don’t know what could be done about this, or even where I’m going with this post. I just wanted to address the problem so i don’t feel like i’m ignoring it. So, if you ever feel that your character is getting ignored and overlooked, just leave me an ask, it doesn’t matter if we’ve interacted before or not, i just don’t want to see another writer or muse disappear because they’re getting ignored.

The forest was no safe place after nightfall - however the Halla seemed relaxed and showed no signs of distress in these dangerous lands. Gaeleen had settled down and kept a watching eye on the creature as it gracefully prodded an open area of the otherwise dense forest. Not until the Halla jerked it’s head upright, and remained completely still as it analyzed the sounds emanating from the forest. Gaeleen rose to her feet in a slow and trained manner - making not even the slightest of sounds, and tried to hear what the creature she watched was clearly responding to. It seemed to be of little avail though, for she heard nothing but the familiar silence of the forests around them - but then, suddenly, there it was. A little sound which sent the Halla, ever in graceful manners, flying towards the safety of the dark and dense forest. Having little means of which to protect herself, there was not much she could do but remain were she was and await the source of those sounds to reveal themselves to the moonlight.

“You poor girl…” Tris slid a pint of ale across the tavern’s bar. She placed her face in between her hands looking at the woman in anticipation.
Gaeleen observed the pint as it was placed in front of her before looking up at the woman. She was slightly uncertain as to what she was expected to do, as the other had not told her but when she was clearly waiting for Gaeleen to do something she curled her fingers around the glass. With some difficulty, due to the size of the pint, she managed to bring the cup to her lips and drank the golden contents. She didn’t know how much she was expected to consume, but soon enough the cup was emptied and placed back on the counter top. The taste hit her afterwards and her eyebrows angled down, giving her quite the puzzled look. “ do people drink this for the taste? “
Send me a word and my muse will reveal a memory that has to do with it.
“ Ale? No, I’ve never had any “

"Tranquility…? I’m afraid I still don’t get it." She was perplexed by her ‘condition’ or whatever it was. But then, if most people wanted her to face away from them, she more than likely wouldn’t be one of them. She had seen quite a few things in her life, and someone with some sort of Tranquility condition wouldn’t be something that bothered her.
Gaeleen remained unmoving by the opposite wall, her posture perfectly squared with her hands folded together. Her hair fell off her shoulder as her head tilted slightly to one side. “In that case I understand your confusion. I should have inquired if you were familiar with the term” her words were those of a polite apology, however her voice carried none of the remorse but remained the same void of emotion as the features of her face. “Tranquility means I have no connection to the Fade, and as a consequence I may be what could be referred to as emotionless” she explained in calm pace, speaking slower than most. “The condition is without cure, but this is not my intention by coming here. I was told to bring these documents and herbs to this location” Gaeleen revealed the pouch resting between her folded hands along with some rolled up parchments, and presented it to the other elf. “Shall I hand them to you?”
"Uh…no? And, um, what condition are you talking about?" Standing close to the window, Eloriel was busily rubbing the bridge of her nose, frowning as she tried to figure out what condition she supposedly had. She’d study for decades on the biology and physiology of humans, dwarfs, and her own kind, elves. And yet she couldn’t point out anything.
"Maybe you don’t have a condition…?" Why oh why did she decide to help out in the hospital when her primary healing techniques weren’t considered ethical to them?
Gaeleen was standing across the room from the other elf, and at the other’s words she refrained from turning around. Some were appalled and made uncomfortable by her gaze; unemotional and bland---humans, dwarfs and elves alike. She crooked her head slightly at the others question, giving a simple answer. “Tranquility is my condition. Many prefer me not to face them”
‘ does my condition bother you? i could turn to face another way, if it would be preferable ‘
( wow this blog got a great start. i’ll be around more is2g )
