Madellaine gasped and jumped about five feet away from Lumiere when she heard the yelling. “Cogsworth!?” she cried wide eyed, things were still a bit awkward between them. She shuffled on the spot for a bit before turning to Lumiere to grab her hat, “I-I really need to go now….”

“N-Non, it- I was simply-” Lumiere, flustered, was lost for words. He was trying hard not to chuckle though, this was going according to plan.. “Non, please, stay Madellaine, I sincerely think you’ll freeze..” And he looked back at Cogsworth, “Ah, Cogsworth- er- why ever are you even angry..?” He asked with a nervous smile.

Cogsworth glowered at the two. "Ah, you're singing a love song with my ex-girlfriend, I can't think of why I wouln't be angry you little-" he stalked over to Lumiere's side and slapped him clear across the face, a red mark already forming on his cheek. "HOW COULD YOU? You selfish bastard. You can't leave anything along can you?" he growled, ignoring Maddie for the time being.

"Cogsworth!" she cried storming over and checking Lumiere's cheek, "why would you do that!? It's not like you and me are together anymore so I don't know why it should both you if he flirted with me. You know what he's like what harm could that possibly do?" She couldn't help scolding him, he could be angry all he wanted but slapping Lumiere over something that didn't even concern him was pushing it.

“Baby, it’s bad out there..” Lumiere ignored her question, grinning, “No cabs to be had out there..” He took a drink from his own without trouble, winking at her.

Cogsworth whistled the tune he seemed to be hearing as he wandered around the castle for inspection. He trailed his finger over a coffee table and sighed. There was a small about of dust on his glove! He would have to talk to the maid’s he supposed.

He made his way over to the door to the parlor room and pushed it open when he realized he had stumbled upon a romantic scene. Of Lumiere and Maddie. 

“What?!” he bellowed. “Lumiere you have five seconds to explain before I throw you out of here myself!”

“Your eyes are like starlight..” He looked into said eyes, putting his cup down. He moved to take her hat, “I’ll take your hat, your hair looks swell..”

"I ought to say no no no sir," she said making a reach for her hat, "at least I'm gonna say that I tried." As she reached she tripped and fell into his chest, "I really can't say...."

“The neighbors might think….,” she trailed off pulling a way a little at that thought, they weren’t the only ones in the castle. Picking up the cup he had laid on the table ((minor god modding cos you forgot that part of the song XD)), “say what’s in this drink?”

“Esmeralda will start to worry,” she sang with slowly trying to pull away and biting her lip shyly, “Pheobus will be pacing the floor.” Pulling away again she picked up her hat from the stand and looked back at him, “So really I better scurry.”

“Beautiful, what’s your hurry?” Lumiere shook his head with a light smile, “Listen to the fireplace roar..” He put his arms around her waist, no pulling away this time. He wanted to dance.

Madellaine was just pulling on her coat getting ready to leave Belle and Adams castle. She had come to visit the Royals but now a blizzard was brewing, she had to get home quickly.

Lumiere practically ran down the stairs at hearing Madellaine was leaving. He would never let go, not in that weather! With piano playing in the backround, he raced toward her, “M-Maddellaine, don’t leave!” He slid to a stop infront of her, “It’s awfully freezing outside..”
