* well… nonetheless of your opinion of my skills in flattery. what i’m getting at is ACTing doesn’t have to be complicated, even something simple as, say a compliment, may work!

man... chara honestly can’t tell if they like the guy or not. he was cute and kind, but he seemed like a bit of a push - over... ( they don’t want to accidentally hurt him. but, it seems they’ve already messed that up. ) twitchy hands guide their arms to cross over their chest, praying for the warmth on their cheeks to dissipate. ( compliments never were your strong suit, where they, young child ? )
“ it... feels awkward to just... compliment someone. ” they admit after a moment of silence. not only was receiving compliments hard, giving them was difficult too. ( not to mention physical contact was a little scary. ) “ but... okay, i’ll certainly try. ”
they take a deep breath, eyes closed as they take a bow. then, they speak, their voice cracking and wavering.
“ your... face i - is... interesting, and... a - and... cool. ” that might almost seem sincere, if it wasn’t for the fact they were staring at the ground.
