to you and the anon who hunt down her clothes, any advice on how to dress like her or where to search?? i want to dress like her so badly but have no idea where to begin
IM SOSOSO sorry for not responding to this sooner, but I'll try my Best to recommend you some options.
when it comes to places to FIND clothes, I'd advise to look on sites like depop & vinted, & overall websites where you can buy secondhand items. but thrifts are always an option !! diy is too. it's whatever you prefer.
I recommend looking for old h&m clothes (jeans, shirts, anything really,,) from at least the early - mid 2000s. from what I know she used to shop at h&m quite a bit !! other brands i recommend are ,, diesel , hollister , areopostale , etc . & if you can , definitely look for clothes at old boutiques .
now when it comes to DRESSING like her , I recommend more characterized emo fashion ,, more darker hints & aspects in the clothing . but if you want color that's good too. if that's what youre going for. her styles changed some throughout the years so I'm not entirely sure what youre going for necessarily . it switched some but not a ton throughout.
if you're looking in for clothing like these 2 ,, look for vintage hollister + areopostale. when it comes 2 online shopping, look at depop vinted, maybe etsy, ebay, poshmark. be careful on ebay though.
darker clothing liek these 2 (more emo or whateves ??? .) definitely the same secondhand sites I listed off, no specific brand. look for old band tees, hoodies, etc. if you're going for something like in the first image definitely find an old black jacket/hoodie (or dye it) & get some fabric paint or fabric markers & draw whatever you want on it, you can do this with anything though. tight black skinny jeans are always a "go to" especially when it comes to styles like this, but only if you're comfortable with it.
now when it comes to styling, by choice, you can get yourself a studded belt, i definitely recommend it. it gives outfits like this more spunk & character. layering too, find camis, tank tops, etc. you can easily style clothes like her with what you got trust me. necklaces (SILVER) always looks good with darker alternative styles. but if you like gold better that's fine too, I'm sure you would be able to get it figured out & make it look good. I recommend looking through the outfits you like & searching for certain things you like about the outfit, like keywords. if you can't find anything similar or something u like, diy. ^_^ if u need anymore recommendations feel free to ask again.
