The magical community quickly noticed the presence of their protector, the ley lines became less volatile, magical creatures became less rebellious, and even the practice of magic seemed to become less arduous for its users
Why? Because now the Rock of Eternity is finally being cared for. Marvel, or Billy, is proudly striving to make up for lost time, helping to protect magical environments, forests, woods, and villages, ensuring they remain in harmony with the lands and kingdoms. He ensures that nothing escapes his own universe, preventing any temporal manipulations that could create holes in reality and turn everything upside down
The Justice League obviously finds out about this; the heroes themselves brought the Captain's existence to light, but it was the magic users who truly clarified the man's identity: a champion, essential to the balance of magic, and one who probably was chosen recently, because they'd been without one for ages, lacking a vessel worthy of such responsibilities
It wasn't for lack of trying that the League contacted him; the guy is simply too good at doing the job and then leaving. After all, he has many tasks to fulfill. But a much greater threat is forming around Earth, and the group of heroes finds themselves side-by-side with the champion to face that world-devouring creature
Batman noticed the opportunity and quickly got J'onn to hand over a communicator to the hero. This communicator was used so that they could better coordinate their attacks with him
After days of fighting, the threat was neutralized, and Marvel promptly stood in front of Batman himself to return the communicator, intending to leave afterward. Superman tries to start a conversation, trying to convince him to stay for the meeting they would have, and who knows, if he's interested, they could talk about the details of him possibly joining the league, yada yada
Marvel is obviously surprised, flattered, and awkward
Marvel: Sir, that sounds like, really awesome. But I can't…? I saw in a Daily Planet article that you guys set an age limit for the League, right? 18 or 21… around there. Was it just tabloid?
Superman: No, thats-- thats true, but I don't understand why that would be a problem?
Marvel: Oh, man. I'm not as old as I look. Actually, I turned 9 a few days ago. It's just that I use magic to disguise my appearance, so my villains can't find me in everyday life, and also to be taken seriously when I'm saving people
Superman: Oh- uhm… that's all right, we understand that some species have a different age system. We have some Martians on our team, they have--
Marvel: No, no. I'm human. I'm 9 human years old. I became champion at 8.
And then they are silent for a while
Batman: Like a child?
Marvel: Yeah…?
Marvel simply didn't see the need to lie. They are superheroes, so they wouldn't do anything against him with that information. And it's not like they had the power to stop him from continuing to do his job
Batman: I'd like to talk more about this whole situation… I'm sure… the League would still have many rewards working alongside you. Is it okay if we schedule a day to talk more? If you're interested, of course
Marvel: Oh my gods, like, you'd make an exception for me?! Super cool. I have some things to do now that all this mess is over, spending so much time in space isn't so great, I need to see what state the magic is in some realms I was supposed to help with, but then I'll keep the communicator and let you know when I can, okay?
Batman: Yes.
Marvel: Holy moly!! Okay, thanks, bye-bye!
And he disappears excitedly and happily, while the League, listening through the communicator, is in shock. kinda

I can only imagine them from now on, when Captain Marvel appears on TV doing horribly dangerous things (not so much for a practically indestructible champion of the gods) and they're horrified. Or when a news report shows the lovable Captain Marvel at a skate park playing with teenagers, and they're like "that makes sense"
they are fully aware of his age, but not of his true identity and he wouldn't reveal it to them. Even though they are heroes and possibly allies, he knows that his identity is very important, not only to protect himself from threats but also to maintain peace in his life without adults trying to monopolize his actions.
So even if they confronted him, saying that he either had to reveal his face or leave the League, he wouldn't think twice about saying "okidokie then, I'm out" and leaving. They only see him again a few weeks later because he and Klarion are playing on the shore of an uninhabited island and they went to check if everything was alright, only to discover that they are playing like two incredibly magical and powerful children normally.
