Ranting about my unfairly maligned favorite BCS character ignore me

People are so uncharitable towards Chuck it makes me genuinely so sad. I hear the same criticisms a lot ("he didn't support Jimmy" "he never gave him a chance" etc.) and it makes me feel like I'm taking crazy pills because he DID support Jimmy—it was reluctant and he was salty about it but like, I'd say he was overall civil (until Jimmy started doing a bunch of stupid shit lmao) I agree that his bitterness over whether Jimmy "deserved" to be a lawyer stems from jealousy which is unfair ofc and it's sad I guess that Chuck never really gave him a chance but like. Jimmy does nothing to earn that 😭 He does shady and illicit shit to win over a client he wants in the literal first fucking episode

And that's to say nothing about how people seem to expect Chuck to show Jimmy endless grace and forgiveness and eternal gratitude because Jimmy acts as a caregiver for him. Ugh

It also genuinely really bothers me how so many people's "pro fat" posts are along the lines of "Yeah, fat is fine/good, eat whatever you want as much as you want!" Like yes that's a good sentiment and yes fear of fatness is what causes so many people to eat less than they otherwise would. I Understand This. But it's important to me that people understand. Someone being fat does not actually mean they eat more than a thin person does. Just because you're ostensibly defending or praising the fat body does not mean you aren't partaking in dangerous stereotyping

If you frame fatness as 1. A deviation from a 'normal' baseline and 2. Caused by overindulgence, you are perpetuating a hurtful stereotype and I don't want to see it. I don't care if you think it's a good thing or not. I don't like being assumed to eat more (or more sweets, etc) than the thin people in my life because of my size, and I especially don't like the causal link people assume. Some people's bodies just are fat without them having 'done anything' to cause that to happen.

(august 10th 2026) if anyone wants to help a disabled two-spirit person going through cancer treatment, i'm in serious need of financial assistance as i have no income at this time. and i won't be receiving any until our welfare office finishes taking their time with my application for disability. i haven't had any income due to medical issues over the last three months.

i need money for food, gas money to get to my appointments, and to pay my bills for the month (phone, internet, car insurance) any small amount would help! even $5 from a few people would help with groceries for us ❤️💞
