lancer was fucking nuts today. went from Max hp to dead in two rounds, cascaded then had to scramble for the rules about players cascading while also running a dangerous as fuck combat!!

Also $26 somehow? Game's free to download, some people are just nice! I'm going to use that to print out more rulebooks and make more starter kits to stock in my local little free library.
Thanks to anyone who tried the game or at least checked out the post! I've only heard from a few people playing it, but those people really seem to be enjoying it. There's something satisfying about making your own cards and trading them that I think a lot of people are connecting to.
I've still got ideas of stuff that can be done with this little game, and then I'm going to actually try advertising it, so we'll see how that goes!
Complete Passer Azimuth Deck
Here's the complete set of Azimuth cards in Passer's deck. They're all made from collaged bits of medieval woodcuts, digitally arranged and colored with some crazy colors and textures. Not really sure what else to say about these, other than I think they came out sick.
The first one, the guy with the triangle head, was designed by Trent Holbrook. Idk if Trent has a tumblr, but his instagram is Miscast.Co, and his youtube channels are here, and here. That card was meant to be a bit of fanart for him. His daily hobby vlog has really helped me stay motivated and inspired when working on this project. If one of those two links don't work in the future, it's because his vlog is a permadeath vlog, meaning if he misses a daily upload, he deletes the channel.

Azimuth is now on Tabletop Simulator
If you own Tabletop Simulator on Steam, you can now download Azimuth and play it digitally!
If this is your first time learning about Azimuth, it's a card game where you make the cards yourself, as unique, personal, works of art, and the winner of a match takes one of the losers cards. The gameplay is like a more refined Triple Triad from Final Fantasy, or Skystones from Skylanders, so pretty simple and fast to learn. The real fun of the game comes from collecting trophies and trading cards with friends and opponents.
Admittedly I feel like it'll lose some of the charm of playing in person and trading physical handmade cards, but the trade off is that I can now beat my international friends and make them give me a digital copy of their cards, so still kind of a win lol
If you play the game, digital or physical versions, let me know! I'd love some feedback, and I've love to see some people's cards even more!

Creative Collectable Trading Card Game
It is done(ish). Passer has been harassing me for the past couple months, but I've managed to finish making the rules for this card game. It was something to do while in hiding, so I can't complain, I guess.
It's a pretty simple game, really. Like, only takes maybe 5 minutes to learn? Everyone I've tested with picks it up instantly. I could have fit all the rules on one page, but this looks prettier as an actual PDF. Still need to finish up the printable zine version, but that comes later.
The biggest draw of the game is that the players make the cards, and you play for keeps. So if you lose, you give the winner one of your cards. This also means that trading cards, win or lose, is encouraged. Really half the game is artist trading cards. And you can make the cards look like anything. They don't even need to be card shaped, technically.
There's a very basic set of standardization rules to the game that makes them legal for play. Basically each card has 4 edges, and those edges need numbers between 0 and 10, and the 4 edges need to total up to 15. As long as it legible and you know which direction is the top of the card, anything goes. Like, very basic and simple.
Anyway, game's free to download. Check out the PDF and let me know what you think. As is tradition, I need to get some rest now. Why do I always post so late?

Printable zine is now a thing! Not that the game is in anyway complex enough to need a printed rule book, but it could be a good way to get new player into it, in person. I'm probably going to leave some of these at the library, and the little "take a book, leave a book" library at the park.

Passer's full blown addicted to Triple Triad, and gave me sad puppy dog eyes when I explained to him it's a fictional game inside a fictional game and no one plays it irl. GUESS IM REINVENTING TRIPLE TRIAD SO MY DUMB FRIEND CAN PLAY IT WITH STRANGERS.

So I was playing FF8 on my crystal ball and Passer happened to be walking by. I just spent an hour explaining what a video game was in vague magical terms and now I think he's addicted to Triple Triad. I might have corrupted this world beyond repair...
Just finished the cover for Wizard Punk Volume 2! Thanks to Ms. Grackle for being my hand model this time!
This volume might take a little longer to get out than the first one, which we slapped together in like a couple weeks. There's a lot going on right now. I'm sure you know, you're probably a person who's living though another round of unrepresented times, just like the rest of us.
Hey, but that means we can take our time on it, and if you've got ideas you want to submit or just casually talk at me in the comments or reblogs, that'll give us more time to turn it into a page.
Speaking of, we're reworking the whole zine from a single page 8 panel print out to a digest style 8.5 by 5.5 inch zine with multiple bound paged. That means we're not limited to 8 pages. We can do more or less or whatever! Probably going to aim for a min of 8, maybe a max of 16? I donno. I'm the only witch on the team that knows how to use a printer, so I guess I'll have to explain this to everyone and get their input. Probably just going to go with the flow.
And I'll go back and reformat the first zine in the same way so it prints better, but that's a slightly later problem. I hope Passer's picture survives the upscale... Huh... future problems indeed.
Anyway, I've got to finish a cargo manifest and send some messages before we take off, and it's already 5am and the captain will be a little disappointed if we're not ready to launch by 8ish... Are you still an early bird if you never sleep?

I was going to post this sooner, but I kept forgetting and getting tied up in other stuff. Here's the whole first zine!
You can also print it out on itch, but I think I'm going to rework it into a digest style zine with bigger pages, because some of the pages are a little hard to read when it's printed on one 8.5x11 page.

An alternate reality fantasy punk zine!
Wizard Punk Vol.1 is finally done!
It was a lot more work than we planned, but our first zine is out now, free, on our Itch.io! If you think a punk zine written by a loose coven of witches and wizards from a fantasy realm sounds cool, you'll probably like it!

Probably going to post the whole thing on here later, but I got no time right now, and I'm not going to be around for like a week. Places to go and stuff to do. And none of the rest of the team knows how to use computers, so... Oh well, the digital reader on itch is pretty cool and there's a PDF on there if you really want to look at it in detail. Passer made some awesome are for his page, so it's worth full screening.
It would be cool to come back to some comments and feedback. I'll try to check when we land, but it's just the first zine of an unknown group of authors, so I'm not going to stress it. Anyway, I need to be asleep like 2 hours ago, and I am no chronomancer. Night all - Thrush
You know what the anarchists and communists referred to in the original post were doing at the time? They were assassinating people, throwing bombs at government officials, and starting bloody street brawls with fascist goons.
That's what would have stopped the Nazis if polite liberals had joined in. Force. Violence. Shit that would get them labelled as terrorists.
That is what is required.
This ain't my fight, I don't live in a country where fascism is prevalent. But it's sure as shit going to affect me if the fascist party in America is allowed to consolidate their power and assume total control over the richest and most powerful country on the planet. So you Americans need to fight, now, before it's too late, both for your sake and for everyone else's.
The time for peaceful protest, calling representatives, donating to political campaigns for mealy-mouthed cowards, is over. The way to stop fascism is to fight them, with guns and bombs and fists. I hope enough of you get that through your heads and step up in time to save your country.
First issue of a new zine is like 50% done! Super happy with how the cover came out. We're all really excited to get it out into the hands of other mages and adventurers.
