Actually, I have a personal headcanon that Elliot, in his moments of vulnerability, uses his hair as a "curtain" to hide his tears from others. By the way, my second headcanon fits perfectly on top of this one
I believe Elliot came from a very conservative family, where they tried to raise him as a "real man," and viewed his tears or his passion for anything creative as weakness or "gayness." Of course, over the years, after Elliot grew up and cut ties with his family (or, well, his family disowned him), he long ago realized how wrong his upbringing was. But deep down, he still carries that fear and an intense reluctance to be seen crying by anyone (let's not forget his pride, which wouldn't allow him to appear in a less-than-perfect light)
I am more than sure that if you (that is, the farmer) accidentally caught him in such a state (who knows, maybe a book review was too scathing or he's in another creative slump that makes him feel powerless and incapable), he would either try to escape under some polite pretext or would deny it until the very end, saying something like: "I just have something in my eye," and... okay, for God's sake, could someone please write a short little fanfic about this? I've gotten too fixated on this small headcanon, sorry

I just think Shang Qinghua should get so angry one time that he unconsciously overrides the System and unlocks Admin privileges and just deletes entire clans out of existance in the blink of an eye while going "writing you in was a mistake".
And I also think everyone who saw that refuses to ever talk about it, but they're all scared shitless of the tiny human by Mobei-jun's side now because they realize he's not just really smart and an amazing strategist, he's also a god and can kill them all in 0.5 seconds. And now they all think that Shang Qinghua is actually the one running the show and Mobei-jun is just, like, the face of the Northern kingdom only.
Shang Qinghua is utterly horrified when he snaps out of it and realizes what he's done (somehow??? He doesn't know wtf just happened) and how now everyone is terrified of him except for Mobei-jun who is just looking at him with heart in his eyes lmao
