so, i've been rolling this around my head for a while, and i just *have* to ask... are there any fics including the idea that, while, yes, draco is indeed bratty and every other feminine adjective you can describe him with, he still tops harry? like the people who say, "draco is 100% a bottom, he's bratty, a twink, and a pretty princess," yes... and so what? he can still be a top...

sorry, i talk about drarry dynamics so much on this account, i don't usually, but this is a genuine question and thing i've just been searching on in the down low... and while i was on twt trying to find adjectives for draco, i saw this wonderful post

Headcannon that Harry’s glasses aren’t prescription (because the Dursley’s couldn’t be bothered) and that his glasses are probably just the ones of some dead relative Vernon dug up from an old drawer, so that even with his glasses his vision is a bit blurry. After the battle of Hogwarts and everything, he decides to finally take himself to an eye doctor and get actual prescription glasses (he still chooses a pair of round frames because he’s just used to them) and is astonished by the level of detail in everything. He’s looking at everything. He grabs Ron’s face and is like, “Mate, you have so many freckles,” and Ron’s just like, “Yeah, duh?” And he goes back to Hogwarts for eighth year (he can actually read what’s on the board and comes to realize he doesn’t hate studying as much when he doesn’t have to hold the book two inches from his face) and all is going well until he spots Draco and just. stops. because Draco bloody Malfoy was not supposed to be that fucking pretty goddamnit. To clarify, the reason I hate doomed yaoi is because I can't handle angst. I can only handle angst if there is certified fluff and comfort at the end. And lots of it. No bad, ambigious, or bittersweet endings here. Just pure, naturally flavoured fluff. Enough of it that I can get sick of it (which is a good thing!)

Read a fanfic of it, then another, and oh my gosh I absolutely NEED more. Where Harry and Draco meet before Madam Malkin's, and they instead become friends. The pining?? Fluffy interactions??? Guys I'm begging for some more of it. Actually, I'm in the middle of making one myself but it's NOT THE SAMEEE!

Bonus points if them being friends causes Harry to not avoid being sorted into Slytherin. . . Slytherin Harry my love.

damn ya'll ever hate when you're deep into a fic, and only when they start getting down and dirty do you realize that the dynamics you want are switched. . .

had about a quarter or less left in this 55k fic, the plot nice and original, only for draco to go "do me like you hate me" no please. . . this is why i sometimes skip to the explicit scenes (even if idgaf about them) if it's rated as such, only to figure out the dynamics, then go back to the beginning

on that note, i'm begging authors to tag top and bottom 🙏 please i'm begging, please.
