My Mother's Life Depends on Your Kindness 💔
My mother is in Gaza, where every day is a struggle to survive. Some time ago, she was injured when shrapnel from nearby shelling struck her back. She tried to endure the pain for as long as she could, but now her condition has become critical.
She has now been admitted to the hospital, and her condition is very serious. She is suffering from unbearable back pain, extreme exhaustion, and every passing day brings more suffering. Watching my mother fight through this pain while I can do so little is heartbreaking.
The doctors told us that she urgently needs emergency back surgery. They warned us that the operation must be performed within the next 6 days to prevent her condition from deteriorating further.
The total cost of this life-saving surgery is $1,000.
Thanks to the incredible kindness of compassionate people, we have now raised $267 through our previous fundraising posts. We are deeply grateful to every person who has donated, shared our story, or kept my mother in their prayers.
That means we still need $441 from this appeal to complete the remaining amount needed for her surgery. We are getting closer, but time is running out, and every dollar brings my mother one step closer to the operation that could save her life.
I am begging you from the bottom of my heart: please don't scroll past my mother's suffering. Every donation, no matter how small, truly makes a difference. Even $5 or $10 can help when many kind people come together.

When they took my mother into the operating room, l felt like I couldn't breathe. I kept praying that l would see her alive again. By God's mercy, she survived the surgery, and I will never forget the people who stood beside us and helped us reach that moment 🙏
But our journey is not over yet. She is still in the hospital under close medical observation, and we still need $700 to cover her remaining hospital bills.. medications, and treatment 💔
What hurts me the most is that for two full days, not a single donation has come. I keep opening the fundraiser every few minutes, hoping to see even one small contribution, hoping to feel that someone still hears us. Every time I see the number unchanged, I feel my heart sink a little more 😔

Hey everyone, this is the family I've been connected with for the last 2 months in Gaza. I've spoken with them via video call to verify them and Rodina and I message each other back and forth every couple of days. They are definitely real and in Gaza and could use your help. After I tried to send them $200 before Eid, GFM unexpectedly shut down their fundraiser and has been unaccountable about not delivering the funds to the organizer or refunding me for my donation. They won't even explain why the fundraiser was shut down. GFM has no reliable customer service line, only a chat service with employees who will tell you you're SOL with no or minimal follow-up or investigation. I've emailed them several times demanding a refund so that I could try delivering the funds another way and they flat out just don't respond.
Rodina's husband has severe hearing loss after narrowly surviving a bombing during the war. He badly needs hearing aids, which are expensive and extremely difficult to find in Gaza. The family is currently living in a plastic tent that exacerbates the horrible summer heat so all three kids are at risk of heat stroke.
If you're considering donating to the family and have questions, I'd be happy to answer them privately. Rodina sends me pictures of the kids regularly but I'm going to refrain from sharing anything here without her permission. She is a really lovely person just trying to raise her kids with her husband despite the fear that a bomb could take any of them away at any moment. I want nothing more than for her family to experience normalcy again, things we take for granted like living inside with modern amenities, easy access to medicine and no threat of bombs. Please consider donating anything you can to help them afford food and essentials. ❤️ It would really mean the world to all of us.
